Great collection of pics from the trip to Great Britain.
Any of the Dose hosts want to add to the gallery ..... or "borrow" some of these?

Laura Bush is the prettiest First Lady we've ever had, and that picture is proof!
Jackie Kennedy wasn't even close, IMO.

THIS is why the President knows he's not hated by the British......
I heard one young British girl call him "the most amazing man in the world!"

Where did you hear that??
To: txrangerette
Well, it was a news report......on Fox, I think. She was in the 12 to 14 range, and they were talking about the fact that, in spite of the protests, most Brits were happy that the President came.
I think she may have been in the northern part of Britain where the Blairs live, but when she said that with her British accent, it was adorable.......and almost made me tear up!

Here's why.
She was not handsome and she was not pretty. But from inside there burned a goodness and a flame that made her beautiful. Helen of Troy, I am convinced, was neither pretty nor handsome. Neither is Artemis, who comes with the dusk. But all loved women, all greatly loved women, derive their beauty from their inner fire. Venuses are for the middle classes, who say, when they have eaten their midday Sunday dinner: "Now we will investigate beauty."

I can still hear my Mom saying she wondered what all the fuss was about Jackie, because she didn't have a pretty face, and IMO, she wasn't too pretty on the inside either.
Too bad Mom didn't live long enough to see THIS First Lady....... if anyone has ever 'burned goodness and a flame' from inside, it is she......
And she's pretty pretty on the outside too!

Thanks! A 12-yr-old boy was told
of in "The Scotsman" publication;
he was awed to meet him where he
visited with Blair. He disagreed
PROFOUNDLY with the anti-Bushies.
And not minding to say so, despite
the pressure to "hate & fear" him.
They can see the truth.
They show a lot of courage.

Kids are perceptive. They recognize honesty, and genuineness when they see it, which is why they are so drawn to the President AND the First Lady.
I have heard or read three different British journalists who have expressed surprised that Bush isn't the 'caricature' that the press has made him out to be......that he is intelligent, warm and funny.
Well, duh.......he's only been President for nearly 3 years, and you finally figured that out??
It seems that British kids are considerably brighter than (many) British adults..............

You might not know that every weekday, rintense, OhioWfan,MJY1288;GretchenEE;MJY1288
Mtngrl@vrwc, and TruthNtegrity put up a thread called "A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos). I suggest you look for it, or you can even request any of the "authors" of the threads to add you to the ping list, so you will always know when there is one.
Day by day, it has been a treat for 2-1/2 years to see the daily activities of the President and First Lady.
