A goodnight prayer going up for Deb and her loved ones. We've not heard from her today. She has many friends around her, and I know this must be a comfort for her.

My Wonderful Friends...

The last of the neurological tests were performed over the course of today (Tuesday), and they only confirmed what we already knew.

Rich's mother, brother and I decided to allow his organs to be donated, with the hope that they might be a help to someone else.

I'm heartbroken, but a part of me is relieved, knowing that he has no more worries - and that he will get a chance to meet my Dad. :-)

He was my gift from God, and I have nothing but gratitude to Him for the opportunity He gave me. I was loved and respected and put on a pedestal (in a good way - LOL). I loved him so much, and I will miss him for the rest of my life.

God bless you all, and thank you... thank you so much.

In their sorrow, Deb and Rich's family are so generous --- making a real Thanksgiving for someone needy out there. When the decision comes, may God be with them all.

How magnamimous of Deb to think of others and allow Rich to help others to live.

And as Exit148 said above, this will make Thanksgiving a miracle for other families.

I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am."

John 14: 1-3

Rich is there in the place that His Lord has prepared for him and for us. There is no better place.

Deb, thank you for your faith and strength; thank you for making a true Thanksgiving possible for those who will receive Rich's organs. May God bless you abundantly and give you "the peace that passeth all understanding".

This is really so sad. Rich was such a nice man, and they were a good couple.
Once the arrangements are made, I will make plans to be there for Deb.

As the good Lord now holds Rich in his embrace, may Rich also reach out and embrace Deb. May she come to understand and accept, and may his love for her sustain her.

How poignant those words. For when Deb was driving me home from the hospital I had to remark of the cloud formation outside of my hospital room that I had seen. Layers of straight lines formed as if it were a wing, bringing to mind this part of the psalm. God does work in miraculous ways and I was greatly privileged to get to know Rich, if but only a short time. God be with you always Deb..Your Mom....(Ejo)
