I agree. Only the hard-core of the Democratic Party will respond to this add. Who wants to see Snake-Head barking from their TV? Not even Mary Matalin I bet! It does smack of desperation - solicting donations over TV? What are they - the Red Cross or the United Way???

Man if you think this is an attack ad then your sensibilities are too easily offended. Both Republicans and Democrats have in the past and will again run things way, way, way, way more vile than this. Where was the attack part? The statement that Bush will raise $250 million is almost certainly true -- at least I think that's his goal.
