I read the whole thread and you didn't miss much. While I understand the author's intent, I do not believe there will ever be a race war. I'm very sorry to disappoint some, but not going to happen. I'm amazed at how people will readily give up on American ideals.

Discrimination against whites in hiring and school admissions is not worse than divorce law discrimination against males, for example.

Not true. Los Angeles for example, the latinos, many illegal, have moved into areas of black populations in a big way. This is happening in almost all major cities now. The tension is great in many large cities. I've seen it close up.
