LET'S LOOK IN THE MIRROR: How can ANYONE on this site be outraged over the Democrats' contemptible suggestion that any Republican is like or in any way similar to a Nazi -- when we have had posts (including one a day or two ago) comparing the Democrats to Nazis? Ann Coulter's good book dealt with this a year ago but what happens is that when we take them to task on it we do the SAME THING. Unless both sides stop acting like mindless school kids hurling the worst names they can think of it is going to continue -- and BOTH SIDES look like hypocrites for getting all upset when they others indulge in the same bratty behavior (just like kids) that other side is doing. Welcome to politics in the 21st century. This is how it operates...so now it's time for our side to do a commercial comparing a Demcrat to Hitler, Stalin, etc. or Sadaam Hussein. THE LOSER? Ideas. Both parties are into slash and burn and ideas are lost in the process.

And just try to oppose smoking in a restaurant. Here on FreeRepublic, you'll be branded a Nazi in no time.

(If this post doesn't make any sense, then it also doubles as a bump.)
One problem: MoveOn.org has the money of Soros and Hollywood stars and the recent history of staging giant protest marches that got network TV coverage. For this organization to equate (not compare) Bush to Hitler in such a public way after priming the angry Left with expensive propoganda really is gutter politics at anew level. Hardly equates with a cartoon posted 7 years ago on FR and seen by a thousand people.

Sadly, you are correct. Perhaps we are too far removed from Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and even Pal Pot, that we can make these comparisons. There are evil people leading countries in today's world but they can be adequatly judged on their own merits (or lack thereof) without making fools of ourselves. As much as I dislike the Clintons and Dean, they are not truely evil. (yes, I am ducking)
