What is so enjoyable about killing an animal?

Of course an animal that is a problem should be put down and deers serve a purpose for other animals in the wild.

I am told that Bear attacks and other animal attacks on humans is because there is not enough animals for them to eat? why is that?

"I am told that Bear attacks and other animal attacks on humans is because there is not enough animals for them to eat? why is that?"

Because any particular species will only stop growth when the food source fails to support that species. Humans would make for a very nice food source to bears and cougars. Unless we keep their species balanced they will try to grow into our living areas.

You really need to use the organ that you have been blessed with, the one above the neck!

If we weren't supposed to eat animals, God wouldn't have made them outa meat.

You haven't lived until you've killed, skinned, dressed, butchered and barbecued a wild animal. Yum!

I can answer that.

The enjoyment is in hunting successfully, not killing per se. To obtain game, one is required to kill the animal. If it can be done perfectly, then the animal dies instantly without pain or fear; this is what a good hunter hopes and tries for.

If you have to ask, you'll never understand.

The State of Missouri had a white tail deer population of about 500 in 1925.

In 2003 the Missouri deer herd was 1,200,000 animals.

Controled deer harvesting has been allowed since 1944, but the herd has continued to grow. Deer harvested in 2003 about 250,000 animals.

Officials of the Missouri Department of Conservation have stated that the population of mountain lions will increase with the larger deer herd.

At present mountain lions are protected from any type of "sport hunting " in Missouri. Mountain lions attack and kill humans, the liberal, tree hugging state of California is an example.

Should mountain lions increase to the point of becoming dangerous to humans, the common sence approach of Shoot & Shovel will come into being long before the politicans would even think of acting.

If you notice, many municipalities actually have a deer overpopulation problem. Why do you suppose that is? Because not enough people are killing them there.

Bear attacks happen because not enough people hunt them. Bears are not stupid enough to attack a human they perceive as dangerous. Not enough hunting pressure, over generations, and the animals lose their fear of humans, and begin to see them as a food source.

The creation is fallen, and animals that spill human blood, the Bibles says, will have to give account for it. The same is not said in regards to humans killing animals... only humans killing other humans.

When we let the deer herds grow, surprise! the predator's numbers increase.

What is so enjoyable about killing an animal?

Satisfaction of a job well done. Anticipation of a different sort of meal. Cheap meat. Etc.

Deer serve no purpose in the suburban sort of environment that they have expanded into other than to be destructive and dangerous

I am told that Bear attacks and other animal attacks on humans is because there is not enough animals for them to eat? why is that?

I guess whoever told you that is in error. Bears eat humans because they're available and can't run faster than the bear. I suspect bears hunt humans for some of the same reasons that humans hunt bears. I do know that the idiotic self proclaimed "bear expert" and his girlfriend who were eaten by bears last year had the disney view of nature. It got them killed.
