Accidents do happen. Maybe she outdrank them, they passed out and she wandered out to the balcony and lost her balance. Who knows. There's always some story in the paper about some college student falling out of a dorm window after heavy drinking.

Or maybe she felt repulsed at what she had done after heavy drinking and committed suicide. Maybe it was a pattern in her life. Who knows?

I've done it myself, off a third floor dorm balcony to the roof of the first floor vestibule. I was kind of an idiot when I was in college...

IMHO, it's too early to conclude, but it could have been accidental.
