Kerry/Fonda '04 (Vanity)
08 February 2004 | me

Posted on 02/08/2004 12:05:44 PM PST by Britton J Wingfield

Just floating an idea:

I was thinking of making campaign signs read John Kerry / Jane Fonda '04 and posting them in the usual places, to highlight Kerry's other war record.

Good idea or bad?

Just call him John Fonda Kerry, that will carry the message as well.

There is an element of "more truth than poetry".

Oh yes with Images of him all scraggly as an Anti-Nam protester and a stupid ginning Jane Fondue at the AA gun with the NVA wearing an NVA pith helmet. The RATs would just LOVE that.

I can hear the howls of anguish from them and the ROTFLMAO from all of FREEPDom.

Especially if we can have big bumper stickers to go over the regular Kerry 04 bumper stickers.

Why not fund a TV ad campaign?

One little suggestion; the image between the name just has to be the the VC/NVA flag.

There has to be a morning after... unfortunately. John "The Mortician" Kerry will certainly be the Democratic presidential candidate after last night's primaries and caucuses. The press is now beside itself with glee at the prospect of the "electable" Kerry running for dictator, er, I mean... President. Those fickle phonies in the "murder-ya", having done in Dean are now crowing that Kerry is the Leftist Messiah!

Ah, but wait, Monsieur Mortician! The "murder-ya" blew it big time for Dean after clearly falling deeply in love with him. They, in their ardor, exposed too much about this preppie pufferfish, and the Dem electorate quailed. This turnabout against Dean happened in about 15 minutes, and Kerry, whose campaign was on life support, became the Leftist Messiah. IMHO, this is a necessary outcome of 24/7 news on cable and the web. The murder-ya desparately needs something to report and blather endlessly about, and, therefore, becomes willing to divulge what turns out to often be...(drumroll)..the TRUTH!

Yes! Dean is an out-of-control nut and a smug one to boot! "Lordy, Lordy", mewled the Dems. "Whatever shall we do?" Well, we see the result. The Left desires power more than anything else, like Justice, Truth, Security... whatever. Dean was not going to give them that power, but Kerry might. So, they vote for him as a possible winner, not because of what he stands for, as if he stands for anything except the next step in a cynically and cunningly crafted political rise.

However, the murder-ya is still out there, aren't they? Will the truth about Kerry be revealed anywhere but WorldNetDaily, NewsMax and others that the murder-ya pretends don't exist? Is Kerry a cynical, opportunistic parasite like Bill Clinton? In fact, is Kerry "Bill Clinton With His Fly Up"? Clinton avoided Vietnam while Kerry served. But, after his discharge Kerry grew his hair and donned the battlegarb of a Marxist, Counter-Culture, College Cretin just like Clinton. He may have served honorably, but, as a citizen, he behaved abominably.

Let's see if the murder-ya has the stomach to show the photos of Kerry hanging with a youngish Ted Kennedy at a D.C. protest, acting the role of a Sixties revolutionary at every turn, giving aid and comfort to the Viet Cong.

"Bill Clinton With His Fly Up"? How about "Jane Fonda With A Fly"?

Just don't forget to put one of Teddy Kennedy with Mary Jo beside it. People apparantly need to be reminded that a drunk and a murderer is one of Kerry's principal supporters.

Personal feeling is, it's not the sort of thing that's going to change any minds. The average person probably won't even get it.

Which is a comment on the average voter, not a comment about how good your idea is. Sigh.

I was trying to think of a bumper sticker that would convey the fact that the bad guys would infinitely prefer that Kerry win, instead of Bush, who is actually fighting back. A friend suggested a bumper sticker that would read,

ANOTHER AL-QAIDA FOR KERRY

I thought that was pretty nice.
