A sociology, psychology question for y'all . . .

In my typical fashion with things I find interesting . . . I shared the above 'document' with most of my email list about what . . . 4-6 hours ago? Perhaps it's too early to gauge . . . but there has been ONE response.

Interestingly, that one response asserted that it was confirming of what a 3rd person had told my friend about the 3rd person's dream.

I just would have thought that it would have triggered more discussion sooner. At least some questions. Even if one thought it was flakey off the wall disinformation, wouldn't it trigger some questions?

Do the better informed about UFO's on this thread really doubt that SOMETHING of that ilk is headed down the pike probably sooner than later?

This whole ball park is NOT just something to make strange movies and TV shows about . . . or just to worry little old ladies in the middle of the night. Nor is it merely the creation of boozing red necks or stoned out late blooming hippies.

Whether this scenario or another very different, very similar or a mix . . . some such IS COMING DOWN THE PIKE. Does anyone on this thread really doubt that???

Thread getting a little long in the tooth; I think we are largely talking to ourselves.

I think that document is technically inauthentic, but at the same time valid, just like that MJ-12 thing from 1947/8.

Probably prepared in an intelligence agency, with real document(s) before the preparer... as well as suggestions as to how to subtly disinform and distort at the same time.

It thus tends to reveal and prefigure the general outlines or tenor of the matter, without specific quotable veracity and precision.

Seriously, I enjoy whatever shreds of dialogue may occur on here whether with you or however few others.

And, having it in the FR archives has some merit for later.

And, who knows . . . some folks do searches . . . this thread may trigger a response from a newbie months hence.

But, you have to judge for yourself what's worth your time, as you know. Please forgive me if I ping you overmuch from this or any other UFO thread. I hate to miss such a valuable potential sounding board on such a topic.

This crap couldn't even make the grade as bad fiction -- even though it's loaded with cues the author couldn't resist slipping in.

It's most likely the product of a can't-get-a-date dude in his early twenties.

A couple of dead giveaways (apart from the wretched, dead giveaway writing) are the overuse (once would be too much, but hey, I gave up counting) of the phrase "the matrix", and the repeated use of the "BI" acronym. (In fact, repeating "BI" is a bit of a joke on its own merit.)

That "BI" usage, BTW, is another giveaway all on its own. The author doubtless hoped to have this turd spammed far and wide. So, with what he thinks passes for a sense of humor, he included a joke -- "BI". Google up the phrase "Breidbart Index" when you get a spare moment or ten. Yeah, include the quotes. Or, Google for "BI Breidbart" without the quotes.

Once you understand the real meaning of "BI", you'll understand that this "work" is "the BI project" -- it's the author's "BI project" -- and every time it's posted somewhere, it's helping him reach his goal.

BTW, the fact that it's in The Jargon Dictionary should give you an idea of what an open joke he's slipped into his, ahem, "work."

The fact that Seth won one of the auctioned character personnas in a famous SF novel is the icing on the cake, and incidental to this purile tripe. In fact I'd be surprised if the author was even aware of it, but hey, who knows?

Ok, then why does God describe Himself as being "I AM" with NONE like himself - if God is an honest God (cannot sin), and if other "gods" exist, why would God say that NONE are like Himself?

Also if there are multiple "gods", but they do not interfere with each other, does mean that you believe for all intents and purposes mankind should worship in a monothesistic manner? For instance can a human choose to worship another of these "equal gods"?

This kid sounds like he's been taken in by the Urantia cult. I had a friend who got sucked into that mess about 30, 35 years ago. It didn't turn out well for him.

In any event, his delusions are apparently consistent with theirs, even if he's not with "them" per se.

I'm curious how someone can know more about a topic which can't be validated.

Once you figure it out, you've found the key to wealth beyond your wildest imagination. But, it comes with a price. You'll have to attend a lot of conventions in seedy venues, hawk books at tables, stay up late at night on the phone with Art Bell, and basically put up with a whole lotta stuff like that -- and keep a straight face, with "that sincere look" throughout it all. Oh, and there's one other thing -- you'll need to check your conscience at the door. That is, if you want to make the really big money.

Even so, times can get rough during those "dry spells", so it helps if you can cultivate a second trade to fall back on, for instance, installing security systems in whorehouses. I hear that works pretty good for at least one of the guys who've, um, mastered the deeper regions of the mysteries.

I don't have any marks and as for missing time, I remember it all.

You're having what are known as "lucid dreams" (formerly known as "night terrors"), they are very common. You're probably fairly young. They tend to go away as you get a bit older. They're caused by your brain's ability to paralyze your body getting kinda out of sync. No biggie, but it can be scary. The basic idea is that your brain has to paralyze your body during REM sleep, lest you physically act out your dreams, and injure yourself. Sometimes, the brain jumps the gun, and the paralysis happens during "twilight sleep" rather than the REM phase.

You should probably talk with your physician, I think I read about a med that takes care of it. (This is not "mental illness" of any kind at all -- it's more on the order of a migraine headache, but with different symptoms.)

I would define it as characteristic of anyone who is taken in by your mindless frothing and ranting when you see something you disagree with.

Compare your own tone to ours.

The works I recommended as background info, and the websites, were in order that persons might see what is out there, and intelligently decide what has value. Are you so gullible, and naive, as to imagine I believe all these sources say?

Yet there would be as much, or more, wisdom in a blind acceptance of these kinds of sources, than in your arrogant skepticism. You are the very type who would just go to pieces and self-destruct if you saw a tenth of what some of us have seen.

The works I recommended help open the mind to what is out there and what is coming, what our future holds. Screeds such as YOURS, on the other hand, have no value at all.

You are just trying to shout us down, and make us shut up just by your sheer prejudice and nastiness. But we are not going to.

It doesn't matter that much to me whether this particular piece is a hoax or not.

SOMETHING of that ilk IS coming down the pike in our lifetime.

There's just far, far too much handwriting on too many walls to that effect--in that general direction.

I don't expect vast portions of society to have much of a clue at this point. It seems our society in our era majors in cluelessness about many topics of vital interest to the security and stability of The Republic.

But IF one just took the Bible and a daily newspaper, and compared the clustering themes of our era with the clusters of Biblical prophecy regarding our era . . . enlightenment could increase markedly.

And there's tons more puzzle pieces in the evidence bin than that. Just because the puzzle is still disintegrated into 100's to 1,000's of small clusters of put-together pieces, is no occasion for smug arrogance.

We ALL look through a glass darkly as Scriptures say. And by the time the puzzle outlines become crystal clear, it will be too late to even do much shouting--except perhaps in acute pain, for many, most?

The time to wake up and adjust one's life is now. All this UFO/ET stuff is just one cluster of threads, themes, clues that evil is not a laughing matter; that evil is intent on shredding our Republic and lives as we have known them--indeed of shredding as much of the planet as evil can get away with.

All that can be shaken WILL BE SHAKEN including our centuries old constructions on reality itself.
