I'll NEVER be angry enough to vote for a liberal democrat socialist!
Sitting out amounts to the same thing!

It's a quick vote for me in the booth, straight Republican!...pissed or not!

Bush may be a one-termer because he has tried to please everyone and has pleased noone.

With garbage like this hitting the main stream media, Kerry has the audacity to write a letter to GW charging 'dirty politics'???? I would suggest that Kerry call the AP and demand an immediate apology from the writer. If he doesn't then I guess it's OK to zero in on the fact that he was Jane Fonda's right hand man during the Nam protests. That He may, or may not, have earned all of the tin that he now so proudly displays as emblems of heroic actions during his short four months in Nam. That he has never earned a buck of his own but rather used his wealthy family's dollars or, worse yet, was a gigolo to unsuspecting women. That he can't make his mind up on serious issues since he advocates one thing today and another tomorrow. That he may, or may not have a lot of, shall we say, notches in his belt for extracurricular activity.

These people are simply unbelievable and anyone who would support them have to have a serious thought problem......

He's lost a lot of support even here. I hear comments made against him here on FR and on other Republican-friendly boards that I frequent that wouldn't have been even considered 12 or 18 months ago. I've actually been very surprised at the number of what I considered "the faithful" that are now against him and may even sit the election out. We all need to face this fact: the election is not going to be a cakewalk. At the VERY least, Bush has a collossal PR problem in areas of WMD, the economy, and immigration. Even if WMDs are on the brink of being found, job creation is just about to turn voluminous, and the Mexicans are all marching towards the southern border to head home, the *perception* is is that we're in big trouble in those areas. And the perception is what is going to kill him if it's not righted, even if the underlying facts don't support the poor perception.

LQ, you are right that GW has lost support from conservatives because of his position on issues like the 'illegal alien' one BUT voters are going to remember that his response to 9/11 was spectacular. Forget about the WMD's issue. If you will remember, that was a fear-word coined by Madelyn Albright and Bill Clinton in 1998.

Most people will vote their security or wallets this election. Most know that the GW, Giualiani, Rumsfeld team has prevented additional disaster since then. To place this country's security in the hands of Kerry, or Edwards, or (worse yet) Nader, would be the dumbest thing that could happen, and voters know that.

On the economy---GW was handed a recession at the start of 2001. Is the economy better now or worse than it was in Jan 2001, and you must consider that 9/11 occurred during that recovery period?

Should this election be a cakewalk for GW. You're damned right it should be. BUT the dems and their willing accomplices in the media won't let it be a cakewalk. Mud is about to be slung like you have never seen before.

"Well, the way to stop it is to ensure your congressional delegation doesn't help send it up to the President's desk. That's how that works in this Adminstration AND did not in Clinton's and wouldn't in a Kerry adminstration."

Ummm...you mean like CFR?

Yeah, and that was,hmm under whose Senate leadership? Are you one of the manifestly stupid who post that "Bush is a RINO;no difference under Kerry ,or that Constipation Party will make life perfect"stuff? Do you not have a damn clue how the process functions? No,probably not. You sit and wail and moan and point fingers and do jack to change the outcome. CFR is a bad deal, where was Congress? Answer that one and you'll have your answer on the AWB. Other than that, have a lovely day.
