Senate Democrats win gun-control victories with assault weapons ban, gun show loophole votes

Their "victories were short lived" the amendments can not stand on their own. When the bill died they died as well.

The assault weapons ban and gun show loophole amendments were attached to the bill that just went down in flames. So they went down with it.
