TORA BORA, Afghanistan, March 5 (UPI) -- Reports have been received in eastern Afghanistan that al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden dodged a Pakistani raid to capture him, the BBC said Friday.

I have to suspect that all the press releases about what we are doing and what we are planning are released for a reason: to smoke em out. And if we get them moving, we have a better chance of catching them. I wont fault our guys and their tactics. At this point, they have captured or killed 3/4 of alqaeda leadership, captured or killed 48 of 55 of the iraqi cards and have prevented countless other terrorist acts. Here's to them. Owl, do you know how big Tora Bora is? It's called the Tora Bora REGION for a reason.
During the TB phase, a whole bunch of AQ and Tali's made it into Pakistan b/c our guys weren't allowed to pursue them. Remember the gutsy, but largely unsuccessful Operation Anaconda.
Speculating OBL is dead is one thing, but KNOWING he is is a little silly.

Osama's playing days are over since he tore his MCL going across the middle at Tora Bora and Pat Tillman laid him out.  Plus, he's rumored to have that same "malady" that Sapp has (except this strain was previously unique to beasts of the field)
