Blacks make up 34 percent of Charleston's population of almost 97,000 people... But blacks accounted for 71 percent of the city's 45 homicide victims in the past three years.
The article does not state it but it is probably all black-on-black violence. Not a peep out Reverend Jackson or Al Sharpton...

It's just like those dam whites to leave the city so that they can't be there to be victims of crime. Suburbanization is causing the black on black crime epidemic. If the whites were still there, they could be the victims and that way we wouldn't have all this black on black crime. Yet another example of how the white man is the oppressor.
