What's interesting is that ESPN is making commercials of these celebs commenting on NBA players. One of those commercials even has Samuel L. Jackson endorsing Bird as the player he'd want with the ball in his hand when time was running down. I want to see if ESPN includes all of Spike's comments in this commercial.

Hmmm....I remember seeing a film clip of Larry Bird saying Johnson was the best he's ever seen. Of course, that was right after the the Lakers had beat them in the championship game.
