Well the difference is libertarians do not wield much political power.(A conspiracy of libertarians? hahaha!)
As far as what I think you are alluding to--is there a problem with that?
Not in a free society.

What happens if during the fair trial, the perp is adjudged not guilty?

They go free.

I heard something a little similar to what you posted, when watching local news reported about it - in northern Minnesota. Worlds apart, but we are next-door neighbors, ya know?

What I saw where I live, is when her attorney said, something to the effect as - get her the mental help she needs, and let her be.

Obviously, something is wrong, that she would do that!

Although, I think something like this should 'be an example' of what not to to....she apparently is a very smart young woman (GPA of >4.0), so she sure ain't stupid.

God only knows. JLO

Well, don't get me wrong,
I'm not complaining, I'm just
explaining why I'm

not devoted to
this particular movement.
(Although I'd rather

party with Heinlein
fans than fans of The Passion.)
And I'm just not sure

about how much clout
libertarians do wield.
Certainly they seem

to be fringe players,
but is it real, or stage play?
(The dividend tax

issue was a strange
"episode." Someone managed
that bit of stage craft . . .)
