How can any church that counts the Kennedys, Kerry, and Daschle as members have any credibility?

Are you aware that the popular GA Jimmy Carter left the Southern Baptists because they were too "conservative" for his tastes? He did not stick with the Southern Baptists in an attempt to "socialize" them. He went to another Baptist faction. But the Democrat Catholics stay Catholic to recruit a bloc of voters.

The Catholic church has been in bed with the Democratic party for the last 100+ years. To this day there's Irish Catholic etc. resentment against the "protestant blue bloods" supposedly running the Republican party.
