President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair arrive in the Rose Garden of the White House April 16, 2004 for a joint statement and press conference. Bush and Blair called on the Palestinians and their supporters to use Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon 's West Bank plan as an opportunity for creating a Palestinian state. They also took questions from the partisan Press on Iraq and the usual question prepared for them from the DNC

He has to be back at Campbell by 9am Tues...he'll leave/ sbout 3am here....then he'll be gone til Aug or Sept....he doesn't have any return dates, not that it matters, they don't honor the ones they give them.

The words that come out of the very responsible people at The Elijah List have helped me keep my sanity, being the political / world events animal that I am. ;-) I think you may be thinking of Pastor Clement's prophecy from January that is cited in part in my earlier post tonight.
I wish I'd been following their postings more closely before the 2000 election debacle -- they are such an enormous help in knowing how to pray. I did read some words from Pastor Dutch Sheets and others who warned that we were going to have to pray like never before in the month leading up to the November 2000 election because the enemy of our souls (and national interests) was going to try to turn the election against God's purposes (my paraphrase). The prophets are saying the same thing about the need to saturate this year's election in prayer, particularly for the presidency and the US Senate, saying that the Lord wants to shift things in the Senate but we are going to have to pray in order to make it happen.
I'll never forget election night 2000, when Florida went to Gore. I was watching the results with a friend and when that came on we looked at one another dumbfounded, turned off the TV, got on our knees and started crying out to God to prevent this election from being stolen. Every so often we'd feel the burden lift enough to turn on the TV, see how things were going, then turn it off, pray, repeat.
I want to see the opposition and dirty tricks and plans of the "dark side" swept out of the way well before the election this year.
