DUmmies: "I Hate America"

"The denizens of Democratic Underground are prone to apoplectic fits when you question their patriotism, or call them America-haters. But see ... that’s the thing. They really do hate America, and in this thread they discuss the reasons for their hatred with total candor: If by ‘America’ you mean the majority living here now, then I hate America. (Hat tip: Jheka.)

The discussion is kicked off by someone seeking counseling from his peers. Should he stay or should he go (now)?

If by “America” you mean the vision of the Founding Fathers, then I love America. But it’s hard to keep that vision in front of me when the majority of “Americans” are fundamentalist, fascistic, homophobic, racist, sexist, ignorant, American Idol-loving morons who think Bush is a strong leader. I think that the America I love is beyond retrieval because it would take more than a new President, it would take a re-awakening of a whole group of stupid people who don’t want re-awakening. Bush didn’t destroy America. Americans who had no idea of the wonderful country they were given destroyed America, and will continue to destroy it whether Kerry is elected or not.

Should I stay? Would you counsel someone to stay in an abusive relationship and hope that the person will stop hitting them if they can just reach the person somehow?

To which one helpful DU gentleman chimes in:

If chimpy gets selected again, we’re all in big trouble. The fascists you describe will start doing more than just voting, the “brownshirts” will be coming after people. And the people like us will oppose them with whatever means necessary. It’ll then get ugly, real ugly.

Can we question their patriotism yet?

So Michael Moore is supporting old Saddam loyalists in the Baath party that used to rape, torture, and murder?

Ashcroft should arrest, try, and execute this traitor for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Just like the Rosenbergs.

It gets worse. Moore also calls for the death of President Bush.

In an article asking his far-left radical supporters to "hold a party for Bush supporters" then insult the Republicans when they arrive, Moore recommends pretzels as refreshments. In fact he says " The only necessary ingredient for this party, of course, is pretzels. Lots and lots of pretzels.

Why pretzels. To Moore it's simple. President Bush almost choked to death on a pretzel early in 2001, so obviously Moore wants it to happen again, to completion.

The bitter viciousness of the left never ceases to amaze me.

Whenever Michael Moore speaks, something is subtracted from the sum total of human knowledge.

"Treason doth not prosper, for what's the reason? If it prosper, none dare call it treason."

I'm calling it treason. And I think that Mr. Moore should be given a fair trial and executed in the morning.

ACADEMY AWARD WINNER?

If anything will permanently turn you off Hollywood, the Academy, Leftists and American major media, it is providing this liar and con man the forum to influence American and undermine its resolve from within.

Truly, the Enemy Within. BOYCOTT HOLLYWOOD AND DISCREDIT THE ACADEMY AWARDS AS CHEAP POLITICAL PROPAGANDA

Moore's just one of our enemies within. It's a shame, but they've always been here and always will be. We just have to keep shining the light of truth on them.

Perhaps you are correct sir. Perhaps they are minutemen. However, American brothers and sisters are dying on the field of combat in the ME and for that other Americans may act as their minutemen to insure proper respect is given for their sacrifice and for the sacrifices of the living who fight on. If it ever gets hairy stateside, Moore's days of plopping down and gorging himself at Burger King could be numbered.

Michael Moore hates America. He can’t escape this fact. He hates American ideals, he hates capitalism, and he hates the courage shown by American soldiers while embracing the “courage” of terrorists. He hates American strength. He hates American power. He hates that the majority of American people support the war, and warns that those who do support freedom for Iraq will pay for that freedom with the blood of their sons. He hates that American corporations are working in Iraq, rebuilding schools, paving roads, providing drinking water, and rebuilding the economic infrastructure of the oil-rich nation.

Moore recently called Halliburton a “war profiteer.” The last I checked, the definition of a war profiteer was ANY person or organization who makes a profit (justly or unjustly) from the events of a war. Moore is going to be the first filmmaker to release a commercial film based on the events of September the 11th. We’ll follow up with Moore and make sure the profits of his new film “Fahrenheit 911” are donated to the families who lost their loved ones that day… because, God forbid if anybody should make a dime off of an armed conflict, right Michael?

Moore undermines the effort in Iraq. As a rabble rouser, he has every right to voice his opinion on the justification for going to war or not. But someone needs to tell Moore that the invasion happened over a year ago, and the debate is over. Instead of complaining about what the soldiers are doing in Iraq, he would best serve those men and women by showing the world that we can be united in determination, even in the face of so-called uncertain motives. No, that’s not Moore’s style. His only interest in the soldiers and what they are thinking comes from when he receives letters from disgruntled servicemen. One of them, Specialist Mike Prysner, is understandably shocked to find himself in a war zone. After all, he turned down a writing scholarship to join the Army just after September the 11th. Who knew there would be a war in the Middle East?

Moore’s wild inexplicable success comes not from the widespread domestic demand for his films, but from foreign French and Canadian film festival awards. This darling of the Euro-trash entertainment industry is showered with praise for his courage to stand up to his own country. His Academy Award for “Best Documentary” (is there a category for “Best Fabrication” or are these rewards reserved for Halle Barre and Sean Penn?) earned him the right to speak in front of millions and state his opinion on the war in Iraq. And it was rejected by even the liberal Hollywood elite. Moore’s original popularity is not a complete mystery. Moore got his 15 minutes with the entertaining “Roger and Me.” He has since been viewed as the blue collar guy who fights for the working man. The fact is, Moore has a million dollar luxury apartment in Manhattan and outsourced his website to a Canadian company. Well, so much for the little guy.

Moore hates America. Despite his repeated claims of “loving” his country, Moore has brazenly declared that Iraqis are the new “minutemen,” and that “they will win.” Funny, I don’t recall American Minutemen blowing up public places in order to convince the British to leave. But then again, Moore doesn’t seem to be the type of filmmaker, or man, to let little things like facts get in the way of his hysteria.

the majority of Americans supported this war once it began and, sadly, that majority must now sacrifice their children until enough blood has been let that maybe -- just maybe -- God and the Iraqi people will forgive us in the end.

Proof positive: Michael Moore is just plain evil. His hatred has grown to the point that he needs to be shunned by logical, rational thinking human beings.

Just damn.

If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

You should know that although there have been several comments deleted here, they have already been reproduced by the irrational loser himself, the man who wants this site taken down because they had the (righteous) gall to ban him, TLBSHOW at LP.

You know that assclown is so intellectually inept when I wrote a post to him reminding him as long as he tells people not to vote for Bush they might as well be putting Kerry in the White House he actually ignored my post and kept on with his crap!

As for Michael Moore, that ugly fatass should be arrested for treason right now and made an example of.

Remember when people were actually executed for treason? Whatever happened to those days? When did we as a nation go soft?

"Hey Hollywood" by The Right Brothers

Well I heard some movie stars talking on TV
Said they were being a voice for you and me
Saying things like "no blood for oil" and "not in our name"
And just like the roar of an F-16, I heard this country say

Hey Hollywood, we hear your message and it don't sound good
You're just running this country down with our troops overseas
Hey Hollywood, take a look around if you would
And if you don't love this land you're free to leave.

Now don't get me wrong I know you got a right
To say what you want and never apologize
You can protest all day and shout what you believe
But the rest of America has the right to kindly disagree

Hey Hollywood, we hear your message and it don't sound good
You're just running this country down with our troops overseas
Hey Hollywood, take a look around if you would
And if you don't love this land you're free to leave.

I'll even help you pack your bags if you want, if you wanna leave.
Hey Hollywood, stop running this country down.
Hey Hollywood.
