Dear xxxxx,

Last week we asked you to stand with John Kerry in calling for Donald Rumsfeld's resignation. Your response was overwhelming: more than 275,000 supporters signed our petition, including 150,000 of you who are new to our campaign. Simply amazing.

You sent an incredibly powerful message to the Bush Administration, the media and the public: Americans want accountability and responsibility at the highest levels of our government. On behalf of John Kerry, I want to thank you for speaking out. I also want to ask you to continue forwarding this petition to your friends, family and coworkers. There's still time to sign the petition. Just go here:

http://www.johnkerry.com/petition/rumsfeld.php

This month our campaign is taking a giant step forward: we're rolling out a major field program across the country. Bush-Cheney has a four year head start in their field operations, but with your help we're catching up at lightning speed.

In the Democratic primaries, tens of thousands of volunteers and activists working for all 10 candidates brought a record number of voters to the polls. At the same time, dozens of new and old grassroots organizations re-energized millions of citizens and brought them back into politics.

Now we're relying on all of you not just to help us build our campaign -- but to BE our campaign.

This is the first presidential election ever in which campaigns can communicate directly with all their supporters and volunteers everyday. By reading these emails from John Kerry and our campaign leadership, you're going to have a direct view into the most exciting presidential campaign in a generation.

This is also the first election ever where you can give us at Headquarters a direct view into your local efforts, your community and your thoughts on where this campaign is going and how we can do better. We won't be able to reply to all your emails, because if we did, we wouldn't have time for anything else -- but please know that your input is making a difference. Email us at tellus@johnkerry.com.

Please forward this email and keep the momentum going. Ask your friends to sign our Rumsfeld petition here:

Thank you,

Mary Beth Cahill
Campaign Manager, John Kerry for President

My thought, too: we should start a petition for Kerry to resign from the Senate because of his self-confessed war crimes.

Better yet, lets start a petition to keep Mary Beth Cahill
as Kerrys Campaign Manager; she is doing a great job (for the Republicans) It is amazing, 2/3 of America wants to keep Rummy and the demos are going after him.

We don't need a counter-petition. Rummy isn't going anywhere. The Kerry Campaign should be more concerned about how their candidate will put people to sleep faster than Jack Kevorkian.

Counter-petitions like this rarely work. People that are content have no need to get involved. If Bush said -- on Thursday you can vote out Rumsfeld with a nationwide call in vote, we'd win. As it is -- he's in and he's staying in -- no need to get our hands dirty.

Has Kerry declined his Senate pay while on his sabbatical to run for President? Also when if ever will he "apologize" for his admitted war crimes?

Let's see...if war crimes render a person unfit to be Secretary of Defense, what about President? Kerry should walk softly on this one...

You sent an incredibly powerful message to the Bush Administration, the media and the public:

That being: "Keep Rumsfeld, these people aren't going to vote for you anyway."

he's not alone..the whole dim party is...just go to DNC website, sign up and read their idiotic, lying e-mails...it will piss you off,

But then you will realize that most of the ones that would vote for him aren't registered and don't have a ride to the polls either.

There really are conservative Democrats "out there". However, the liberal Nazis who masquerade as Democrats have taken over the Party. Try getting a word in edgewise with these so-called "liberals" (silk stocking socialists). They'll do anything to suppress free speech: ad hominem attacks, hit-and-run, defamation of character, physical abuse, etc.
