It's now confirmed that the substance in the Iraqi artillary shell is positively ID'd as Sarin. Enough of the substance to have had a kill rate in the thousands had it properly deployed. This should be a huge story, but media outlets are still too busy reporting that actor Tony Randall is dead.

No John, unlike you I have a CLEAR definition of what WMD is and what constitutes a WMD.
Weapon = Devise to kill or disable an opponet.
Mass = Large or numerous.
Destruction = To kill or destroy.
Nothing here about when it was invented.
Let me see. Is mustard gas a weapon? Yes. Does mustard gas affect large amounts of people in sufficient quantities? Yes. Does mustard gas kill? Yes.
Therefore, mustard gas is a WMD.

You should know that before the war the US and UN agreed it was not likely that Iraq had nuclear weapons. VX and sarin was at the top of the list of WMD's the US was worried about. The UN was also because they found many after the gulf war, but never found the quantities supposedly destroyed. Many many articles about WMD's and sarin, you should do a search on them.
And the nuclear bomb is WWII technology.
