Yeah, I can picture a guy saying, "Whoo, boy did I get hammered at that wedding!!"
Well, I have visited South India, and one night, there was--in the city--a wedding celebration that started the night before, and went all night long.
Of course, it wasn't at a time of war...
"... the best way is not to shoot first in Iraq and ask questions later..."
Be assured that the men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces (outside of a few individuals magnified by events and the media and the enemy) are trained professionals and daily take every precaution to NOT injure in any way non-combatants - particularly civilians.
In many, many instances, our soldiers place themselves in deliberate danger through studiously avoiding injuries to innocents - and many have gotten killed for this restraint. That assuredly has not deterred them from continuing it.
My words of course will not convince you - for whatever reason you seem to not have much knowledge of how the U.S. military is trained and operates. And you rush to a conclusion that is not in anyway justified or warranted.
I can only say to you that it would be worthwhile for you to personally meet some of these wonderful and professional men and women who - and may the Lord bless them - protect and defend you and me and, more than we can realize, all the population of our nation.
They are the best of people. Believe me.
This may not have been a wedding at all, that place was targeted because it is on Syrian Border and was being used as Safehouse for terrorists. This may be cover story to hurt US, not truth at all. Children Jihadi's are using AK47's against our troops. Check out the true story on FreeRepublic by Pvt. Walsh, who was there April 9th in convoy attacked by terrorists.
Yeah, right...just like they always have these battles in the "holy" city of this, or that...
Yeah, right...after they fire on us from their "holy" mosques, we return fire (which is acceptable under the ROE, a civilian holding a weapon is no longer a civilian), and the news reports "US soldiers fire on a mosque during prayer in the holy city of (fill in the blank)."
Point not taken, and it's not worth 2 cents.

She remembered that the village of Al Qaim was mentioned in 2003 as being a suspected storage place for various chemical and other weapons. At that time, she posted this article (from Debka, but it seems reliable and I believe I have seen Al Qaim mentioned elsewhere).

Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it? What was in the wedding punch?
1) Believe everything you read.
2) It's all Bush's fault.
"These folks are such animals, it wouldn't surprise me if the dead were sacrificed to the cause and the child purposely be-headed to make it appear that we were getting revenge for Nick Berg."
Not a very clever comment. Groups trawl these pages looking for idiotic comments like these. Please use some common-sense! Also on this thread was a post claiming that the Arabs mortared the village themselves in order to blame it on the US. Please think rationally before posting!
The Bush Administration should look into this wedding. If what you stated or some similar version is true they should immediately call a military press conference and correct what the JEfin Press is reporting 24x7.
Get the facts out now. And tell the enemy that human shields will be eliminated when necessary. War is hell, but it must be won.
BUMP!
LOL! Homer Simpson, always the first in fashion.
And as we all know, the children and women were "placed" there to be sacrificed in a staged wedding if things went wrong during their terror operation, from which US troops were purposefully fired upon, in a successful effort to create "innocent" casualties to aid the propaganda war against the US.
They are the real butchers.
