Cosby is bucking to be the most hated black man to the Left since Clarence Thomas. Pure heresy.

Wow, that's interesting! The only time I've ever seen Cosby interviewed on a talk show, he was rudely and sullenly anti-white. Which I thought was ironic since he'd gotten rich off the affection of white-bread middle America.

They are buying things for kids -- $500 sneakers for what? And won't spend $200 for 'Hooked on Phonics.' . . .

Hate to burst your bubble, but Cosby is an avowed leftie who snubed Dr. Rice not too long ago.

Geez! I was laughing so hard I lit the wrong end of my cigarette! I could hear Cosby's voice in those quotes. Remarkable. And yes, I SURE it made Kwesi more than a little queasy!

Perhaps C-span will show it. Might wind up in their on-demand internet archives.

Thanks for giving me my second pleasant surprise today.
(The first was the posting on Gene Simmons...)
And the trifecta came later in the Cosby column:
" Add one more to the Republicans-who-live-in-Hollywood list. (How many is that now? Five?) The ever-shrinking Lara Flynn Boyle tells Us Weekly that Democrat John Kerry ain't her man. "I'm Irish Catholic, so a Democrat by blood," Jack Nicholson's former flame reveals, "but I'm 100 percent for Bush. I want my president to be like my agent: Not afraid of people, but wants my best interest."

Cosby is a total liberal. Except he doesn't have much use for idiots.

Kweisi Mfume must be Mfuming over this. If the speaker were white, he'd have been shot on the spot. If any other black, he'd have been villified to the extreme...
But this is Bill Cosby, one of the most beloved and respected black men in the country no matter what your political affiliation or race is. It would be suicide for anybody to go after him.
This is just so classic!
To: Pikamax
It's about time a popular and beloved black entertainer came forward with these sorts of remarks. I would like to have heard the entire speech. I suppose the people he coined as "knuckleheads" will all come down on him now

He always has had no love for black people who he thinks make them look bad, when def jam comedy was on HBO he would berate russel simmons and the comics like crazy as nothing more than minstrels.
