By my estimate, about 1 person in a 100 over there (on DU) realizes what a horror it is for them to be celebrating Reagan's death. By my belief, about 1 freeper in a 100 would celebrate the death of Bill Clinton (maybe 2 out of a 100 for Ted Kennedy) in the same fashion. You may judge people by their words and their actions. They have been so judged.

Being forgiven by a "kennedy." If that don't beat all!

Every once in a while, I feel the need to re-affirm that the side I'm on is the right one.

The left is always happy to make it more clear than ever.

Thank God for Ronald Reagan, the greatest President of the twentieth century. He stopped communism in its tracks and exposed liberals for what they are. We are greatly indebted to him. His vision, clarity and courage were unmatched.

No relation to the Massachusetts trash. My Kennedy ancestors have been in Texas for 7 generations.

I found these two quotes from President Reagan's first inagural address. I was struck how today, in the wake of 9/11 and the WOT and the naysayers on the RAT side of the aisle, they are just as true as they were 23 years ago.

"We must act today in order to preserve tomorrow. And let there be no misunderstanding--we are going to begin to act, beginning today."

"...we, as Americans, have the capacity now, as we have had in the past, to do whatever needs to be done to preserve this last and greatest bastion of freedom."

Amen!

I can't bring myself to go to that site, but I sure wish someone would go there and (gently) tell those 1 in 100 to look at the comments of the 99 and really think about the kind of people with whom they are associating. Do they really want to be part of that kind of evil?

I was listening to Garrison Keillor yesterday...whom I can enjoy as long as he doesn't get into politics...

Anyway, at the beginning of A Prairie Home Companion he very reverently mentioned RR's passing and gave a warm and gracious monologue.

But right when he mentioned Reagan's death, some filthy maggot-infested dope-smoking red-diaper-doper-baby plastic banana goodtime rock-n-roll Michael Moore type in the audience let out a L-O-U-D yelp of glee, "YEAHHH!!!!"

Keillor ignored the idiot and went on to his very kind and appropriate remarks. I half expected him to ask, from the stage, for the moron to be removed from the theater.

My respect for Garrison Keillor went up a notch yesterday.

There are few people in this world whom I see as being truly evil. Bill Clinton doesn't qualify. He's an immoral jerk who can't keep his pants on, but he's more interested in political expediency than in advancing the liberal agenda.

This is what such du-mies don't get. We are celebrating his life and are grateful for his lessons and examples. Those venom leftists are expecting us to be falling appart as if we can't function without "fearless leader". (vat vill we do boris? I don't know natashia.)

I never understood President Reagan's greatness until fairly recently. For that, I am sorry. Rest in Peace sir.
