I wouldn't be surprised if a Fox staffer is monitoring our site - let's hope!

Thanks... yes, the camera just did a close up. I feel bad for him - he seems so alone.

Oh woe! Woe is me! My location is about to be hit with an extraordinary cell of thunderstorms. I fear I will lose the cable tv or worse, the dsl.

Fingers crossed and a quiet prayer goes up.

Dog, let me second that Spybot Search and Destroy. It works like a charm, and it's free.

Why is Carl Levin sitting down when all others are standing?

Two possibilities:

1) Disrespect, or

2) He IS standing.

He was honest in what he was saying and I loved it!

I loved it too. He boldly praised the Gipper's great achievments. Not just the "he had a great smile" copout. And his voice nearly broke toward the end. A great tribute.

Hastert's tribute is profound.

From the next room it sounds like Newt Gringrich's voice..IMO

I agree...Hastert is doing well. So did Ted. I really am glad the family chose not to give word to the 'rats.

They already did, they wanted "bipartisan" eulogies

Did they really?

Can you tell us specifically what you think he said that was partisan? I didn't hear one word that he should have changed or that was inappropriate.

He didn't mention Democrats. He didn't mention names. He talked about the status of the country before, during and after the Reagan presidency which I believe is entirely appropriate.

Why don't you give an example of what you mean.

Thank God they didn't point him out with an interruption. I was almost thinking about turning it over to C-SPAN (GASP!) However, I'm recording it with my DVD Recorder and I can't. UGH!
