Malaise was Jimmy Carter's term. He first used it, he first accused the nation of being it. It was after his "deep think" retreat at camp david. IOW carter blamed the people for the Malase and said the people were the root cause of it.

Reagan came in and reminded us we can do. Can do better, and accomplish all we aspire, we ARE a force of good in the world. He then lead by example.

Sure! Freepmail your address to me!

Do you want the Funeral on Friday? I'm assuming so. If not, I'll may this out tomorrow. I got the coverage earlier today. Would you like that? Just give me what you want and we'll work from there.

Yes, please include the funeral. I will Freepmail it to you when I get home. For now, I will be getting off of work.

Both of my grandmothers were the same way. That generation had been through so much, carried such burdens, and handled their problems internally and kept their own counsel.

I rather wish we could return to those days vs. the new Jerry Springer sort of primal screams everyone seems to be having these days.

Nancy is looking at him with an uplifted face and soul, I can just see it!

Yup, her smile made me smile too. It was good to see.

She's grieving, all right, but she also knows that this is her last duty to the nation as a First Lady, and she's seeing it through.

And America thanks her for her service to our country. She is beauty and dignity and class and graciousness. My heart breaks every time they do a closeup on her.

I don't believe for one minute that Nance Reagan is sedated.

She is the epitome of class and taste. Look at her! She's gorgeous. It breaks my heart thinking of the love between them.
