I'm fine right now, but I know I'mm going to lose it when the riderless horse rides down Penn. Ave.

I lost it when they played, My Country Tis Of Thee.

The drums have started - so have my tears. They have been echoing in my mind all day, now they are real.

According to talking head experts for the past few days, every former president is entitled to a full state funeral, which is what this is. A president makes his preference known as soon as he leaves office, and his wishes/plans, are updated yearly thereafter.

The Nixon family chose not to have a state funeral.

The Johnson family did opt to have one.

LOL -- yes, you and that casket...
Would you have him treated like Lenin or
is it Stalin who's entombed above ground?

Dang blurry screen!

LOL! I've used lens cleaner every night this week so I can see what I'm doing the next day.

nice bang, though.

I'll bet. Too bad the compression on the cspan feed makes it sound like someone clanging two pans together.

It appears that you are capping in 640x480. I am capping in 320x200. Smaller seem a bit sharper, less pixelized. You might change your cap window to the next smaller size and see if you get any improved quality. (Web feed windows tend to be 320x200 rather than the larger size.)

Lester Holt just said that President Reagan makes his last trip to Capitol Hill. That seems more respectful then talking about the casket has arrived and on its way to Capitol Hill IMHO.

"old gal" is hardly a respectful way to refer to Mrs. Reagan.
