I'm pretty sure this is what they said on Fox: that tonight was the State Funeral, and Friday is the National Funeral Service.

Not a single person that I heard.....until this thread......indicated there was a funeral today, just the procession leading to lying in state prior to Friday's funeral and then the private internment.

Well, I checked the Reagan library schedule.

I was wrong. What occurred in the Rotunda was a state funeral.

That doesn't change the fact that in the procession, expressions of support for Nancy, which she clearly appreciated in her response, was appropriate as long as it was kept at a respectful amount, which it was.
