Didn't a freeper figure this out days ago?
Which gives truth to the saying "figures lie and liars figure"
They can lie, but they can not run.....the truth will be known on Election Day. SO LIE AWAY LIBERAL MEDIA LATIMES....THE TRUTH IS COMING!
Say it isn't so.
The LA Times is a disgrace. There has been no balance in the way news is covered in LA since the Herald Examiner shut down, and that was many years ago now. I still miss that wonderful daily paper.
So I guess if a poll was conducted with 75% republicans the results would be valid and the LA Times would run it with a headline "Bush trounces Kerry in poll, getting the support of 75% of respondents"
A 13% Dem-positive difference, and STILL only a 7% lead?
Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
*snicker*
It is always the same with LA Times- did the same thing with Arnold's polls
I'm shocked that the LA Times would do this!!!
What's next....not being able to trust the NY Times and CNN to accurately report the news?
The problem with the LA Times is that it is forever stuck in 1974, and its polls are based on party affiliation back then.
Freepers were 5 days ahead of Drudge's "DEVELOPING" Story:

No disputing the polls by the LA Times are worthless.
"LA Times Poll"
If we take out the "A" and the "T" and the "M", we have the "LIES POLL."
Mere coincidence,.....I don't think so. I'm calling the Art Bell to reveal this conspiracy now!
That leaves 37% undeclared or "independent". How many of those are just ashamed to admit that they're democrats?
"Do you folks realize that you sampled 52% more Dems than GOPers? Of course you do. Do you really think that's fair, especially as your poll numbers are cited by so many in the media??? Just wondering... do you folks have an ounce of fairness in conducting these polls, and reporting these obviously misleading facts?"
I suppose I shouldn't do it, but whenever somebody calls me and asks if I would mind taking a short poll, I answer, "Yes, I would mind," and hang up.
I signed up for the national do not call program, and in recent months have been receiving very few courtesy calls.
As a matter of policy, even when I am called by a charity I support, I always say, "send me a letter." I never accept a courtesy call of any kind.
Evidently liberals have more time on their hands.
Oh, I forgot. That was another LA Times "accurate" poll.
The Times Poll, supervised by polling director Susan Pinkus, interviewed 1,230 registered voters in the national sample, as well as 566 registered voters in Missouri, 722 in Ohio and 694 in Wisconsin from Saturday through Tuesday. The margin of sampling error for the national sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points; for the state polling it is plus or minus 4 percentage points....it is also merely a "registered voters" poll, as opposed to a "likely voters" poll. The article by Richard Brownstein claims that the poll was taken Saturday through Tuesday, but if the most polling was done on the weekend, the numbers will favor Democrats. (Republicans are out having a life on the weekend!)
