Sort of off topic on spouses, but Rush said today that TeRAYza said something to the effect that she would give up her whole fortune to have her deceased husband back.

Question:

If Hillery is elected Vice-President, who will be first lady?

Hillary or Tresa?

Decisions, decisions . . .

The correct response to the third question, from women, should have been:

92% "Vote? We can vote?"

Looks like 'sexy' Te-ray-sa is not so popular as she thinks she is.

Te-ray-za looks trashy. She always looks slumped and straggle-haired and just trashy. Her clothes don't seem to fit her and her posture sucks.

Neither have ever been accused of being ladies.

It is truly a shame that she lost her real husband to a plane crash...how she hooked up with JK is beyond me.

Kerry might need to dump Terraayza and bring on a new first lady for his campaign. That would be the ultimate flip-flop.

LOL. It looks like old "Bring it on" Kerry's "secret weapon" is more of a "poison pill" than an asset.... well, except for her bank account.

.

Whose style do you prefer in a first lady?
Laura Bush 70%
Teresa Heinz Kerry 30%
How much does a candidate's spouse affect your vote?
A little 48%
A lot 32%
Not at all 20%

There is another poll at the bottom of the page...

Will Heinz Kerry be an asset or liability in her husband's campaign?
Liability 62%
Asset 38%
.....
Will Bush be an asset or liability in her husband's campaign?
Asset 88%
Liability 12%

Laura 70%
Theresa 30%

If this poll is representative (a big if, I suppose), I draw two conclusions:

1. The average person feels closer to Laura Bush - modest attractive, educated, but fairly traditional - than it does to the self-promoting ("I'm sexy, I'm cheeky"), ultra-rich Teresa.

2. The poll will not be reported by any of the major news outlets, except perhaps Fox. The idea that people would prefer Laura to the rich, exotic, cheeky Teresa just won't compute with the media elite.
