of course atheists support Kerry. They don't believe in anything and neither does Kerry, well that is what he will tell his cronies anyway. He can't hide the fact he said he is against gay marriage and he is catholic.

Oughtta play real well in the Southern and Heartland stump speeches.

Nonsense. I'm an atheist, and I don't support Kerry. The difference is, these guys aren't atheists, they're Atheists. Professional unbelievers. Pot stirrers.
The mindset that makes people dislike the church tends to make them dislike the state, as well. John Kerry is not a good choice for sincere anti-statists.

Muslims have made it clear that they plan to destroy America by any means
The spewer (author is too kind a word) of this article is also unable to distinguish between radical Islam and Muslims.
I am an atheist with no desire to vote for Kerry/Edwards.

Good thing Christopher Dodd of CT. isn't running or they would be hard pressed to believe in Dodd.

"This endorsement of Kerry, by those who do not believe in God, and want to outlaw all references to God in public places, re-define marriage, make homosexuality the norm, advance a culture of vulgarity and kill all babies of inconvenience"
lol....wow...this group wants to make homosexuality the norm, kill babies, and promote vulgarity. Their platform is pretty extreme. I am guessing that even Kerry would be against that.

"...announced at a press conference that they represent nearly 30 million Americans that could translate into as many votes."
This 527 group comes into being in March and they have the audacity to claim that they now officially represent 30 million atheists, a number that confirms the fact that 90 percent of Americans believe in a Higher Power (non-denominational term.)
In the final analysis, I have no problem if someone wants to follow a path that involves no relationship with a higher power AS LONG as there is no attempt to deny the other 90% of their right to acknowledge a higher power even in a public school, institution or setting.
To those atheists that say, "We have a right and our children have a right to not be force-fed any notion of God" I say "Fine" then agree to bring schools back to the very basics - reading, writing, arithmetic - and help cut out the force-feeding of socialist dogma.
The fact that God will always be part of a school setting is probably best encapsuled by that oldie-but-goodie bumper sticker - "As long as there are tests there will always be prayer in school."
