Biden says Kerry has steel in his backbone. LOL

I didn't know steel came in yellow tones. Or is that pink?

Alan Colmes is saying Kerry did two tours in Viet Nam.

Listened to some talk show this evening while in the car. No idea who they are. Couple of guys in Chicago. Some woman called in and mentioned Kerrys two tours in Vietnam. Didn't happen. He did his homework and found the three purple hearts loophole and jumped at it. What a sleeze.

One of the things that amazes me is that Kerry can't see the trap that he has just walked into. It is quite possible that he walked into the "secret plan" on the fly; he made it up because he was on TV and had to come up with something.

What do you make of Kerry's poor post-convention polling?

Be Seeing You,

Chris

beware of Kerry setting up bush with a plan when bush confronts him. All lawyers know not to ask the witness if you dont already know the answer. We need to demand a look at Kerry's Plan NOW

What is to beware of.

If he continues to push his SECRET plan and he releases a good one... Bush just thanks him and puts it into effect.

Bush gets the credit for puting the nation ahead of his own political ambition. And Kerry gets trashed for putting politics and winning an election ahead of our troops lives.

There is no way Kerry can win this. Look at what I posted about Harry Truman in 1948. Dewey finally after much pushing by Truman presented his Secret plan for the economy. Truman surprised every one by supporting the Dewey plan. Truman tried to get the Republican congress to pass it. They refused.

Truman was 25 points behind when he adopted Deweys plan. Six weeks later Truman won the election and defeated Thomas A. Dewey and the Republicans lost control of Congress.

Dewey was willing to keep his good plan secret to win an election. The congress was willing to keep the economy bad to elect Dewey. Truman was willing to give Dewey all the credit to get the economy fixed.

The voters figured Truman was looking out for them and Dewey was looking out for himself. They figured Dewey would screw them and Truman would not. They figured all Truman needed was a better advisers.

This is a box and for kerry there is no way out.

What do you make of Kerry's poor post-convention polling?

You know my theory. About 15 percent of the voters vote for the man they like. They liked Reagan and voted for conservative Ronald Reagan. The same people liked Bill Clinton and voted for Liberal Bill Clinton.

It was about 70 to 30 for Reagan and 60 to 40 for Clinton 43. it was about 60-40 for Bush over Gore. It is likely 85 to 15 for Bush over Kerry. People just don't like John Kerry.

Not that many people saw Kerry on TV at the convention but nearly everyone saw him on the news or heard him on radio.

Kerry turns off the people who vote on the likeability factor. He is a much bigger turn off than Gore, Dole, or Bush 41. Kerry is a loser. Remember that Kerry defeated Edwards.. That tells you edwards contribution to the kerry effort.

Kerry does not have great AFL or Auto workers union supoprt. They don't like edwards. Gore was their man. The owned him.

There will not be the Labor Union effort for Kerry that there was for Gore.

The more he campaigns the worse he does.

The President has to call him out on this.

He will in the first debate. ON all the networks and all the cable news Channels.

Bush knows that when you have a sure winner, you don't call the pot untill all the chips are bet.

It's 2 days since you wrote this message, but I wanted to tell you that today on Rush, he proved that the American people are much smarter than you're giving them credit for.

Remember before Kerry's speech on Thur night several of the pundits were saying that Kerry had to hit it out of the park. As soon as the speech was over .. the same people acknowledged that Kerry had done just that .. he had hit a home run with his speech.

However .. Kerry never got a bounce out of the speech (which he should have been able to do) and it showed up later that Kerry actually LOST POINTS .. which means the American people did not buy what the pundits said.

The media may say a lot of things but we must understand that the media is USUALLY wrong. As an example .. remember during impeachment when the media kept throwing in our face that 75% of the American people did not want x42 removed from office ..?? Well .. what the media never bothered to reveal is that ONE YEAR LATER, that very same 75% had changed their minds and now believed x42 should have been removed from office.

Then .. we had the 2000 election .. the public stampeded to register to vote .. republicans far exceeded democrats.

Then .. we had 9/11.

How many of that 75% do you think are still onboard ..?? From what I can tell .. about 65%.

And .. as far as an attack is concerned .. if there is one .. KERRY IS OUT OF BUSINESS .. that's why Dean is all over the place trying to say that this current security alert is just a political stunt by the Bush campaign. The dems would only say that if they were well aware that America's security is BUSH's ISSUE.

Go to Rush's website and read all the GOOD information there. It will lift your spirits. The media is trying to tell you that Kerry is going to win .. THEY'RE LYING!

Actually, I think Edwards picked up on Obama's ONE America speech at the convention which got so much attention. But .. it's still a great flip-flop to catch Edwards with.
