Kerry admitted much of this in his Congressional testimony. I don't know how he is going to counter this besides saying the old line, "I question the timing of this".
I look forward to marching into B&N first thing that morning and making a big fuss over finding and buying the book...

Vigourly counter....how? By screaming shrilly, swearing and launching counter attacks at the veterans or by calmly answering the challenges with facts and in a manner that portrays credibility.

I suspect he means the embargo of using quotes and excerpts from a book pre release.
It means he is going to start sharing details from the book before it is released. The term "embargo" first came up during the Dem campaign where the press was given a copy of Kerry's speech but established an "embargo" preventing it from being printed until a certain time.
I thought the book didn't come out until the tenth?
If it comes out earlier I will buy it earlier!

I agree. People get very emotional about stories involving animals.
Look how fast Arnold changed his stance on putting animals to sleep quicker than before. The public outcry was so large he changed his mind quickly.

The publisher gave Drudge an advance copy of the book on the condition that he not divulge its contents before a certain date. That date is apparently tomorrow.
Maybe Drudge means an "embargo" of missing press about Kerry's VietNam skeletons.

An embargo in journalism is a prohibition on releasing a story until a particular time. Only after that time can a story be released. Most stories don't come with embargoes.
Hmm. Does the name Soros come to mind? Nahhh. He only finances Kerry's allies to dig up trash against Bush.
