ST. PETERSBURG, August 14 (RIA Novosti) - The modernization of the U.S. radar installation in Greenland aims to rebuff threats of the rogue states, U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said after talks with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov in St. Petersburg.
The United States already had a radar base in Greenland and we signed a deal with Denmark, in particular, to upgrade this base, Mr. Rumsfeld noted. We announced our intention and all work is transparent, he stressed.
This is done to rebuff threats of the rogue states, such as possible ballistic missile attacks on the U.S. and its allies, Donald Rumsfeld said. According to him, the installation threatens nobody as a matter of fact.
"We are interested in the modernization of the radar installation, as well. As our relations develop, such problems will be removed," Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said, on his part, commenting on Russia's concern about the upgrading of the U.S. radar base in Greenland.

How? With a tactical nuke?
Stinking commie rats.
It would be a great place to exile Rumsfeld to.
He could be the Secretary of Defense of the Great Northern Polar Bear Proletariat!
