He was trying to invoke the ghost of JFK #1. In 71 JFK #1 was still revered. Remember he was coached by an RFK speech writer. Very good!

My new tagline...
==His VN crumbling, he says 'move on'. So now, John Kerry is running on Bob KerrEy's Senate record.==
John's website said he was Vice Chair of the Senate Intel Committee. But, that was Bob.
An early ad and his website (since removed), touted his VN service, his experience as a prosecutor and Senator. The ad lauded John's casting the deciding vote on BJClinton's Job Creation Economics package in 1993. A Senator did hold out, wanting some perks. That Senator finally got what he wanted and did cast the deciding vote. Trouble is, that hold-out Senator wasn't John (though he claimed credit in his ad). But, that was Bob.
Too bad John doesn't have much of a Senate record to run on. Bob KerrEy did more in two Senatorial terms than John Kerry has in four Senatorial terms. You do the math.
John keeps getting confused as to whether he is John or Bob.

The question hanging in the air is ...
What is McCain going to say when some journalist asks him what were you doing and what do you think about J F'n Kerry's 1971 testimony? Now that ought to be good.
Clue: McCain was a guest at the Hanoi Hilton when Kerry was giving his famous speech.

Rich Lowry (NR) wrote a good article on McCain. He won't base his views republican, democratic, libertarian or anything. He looks for what (so called mainstream)press thinks & act accordingly. Then the press will paint him as hero.
But, if he wants to have any future with conservatives or republicans, he should avoid press & act like a true republican.

Excellent FTN synopsis. Can't think of anything you missed. Spot on with the "chummy" McCain interview description.

She will be gracious and low-key, presenting a palatable alternative to Kerry. She will not be harsh or strident, but smiling and jokey ("Oh, Tim!").
Boy , were you off in your prediction,, she had daggers in both hands ripping into President. ;-)

Brit seems to feel Kerry's 1971 testimony --in an accent he didn't have when they were young boys together and doesn't have now --- will continue to hurt him. Thanks for noting that. That segment is coming here in my time zone after the commercial break and I'll listen for it. We've all wondered if Kerry adopted that pompous accent, but I have wondered if any of it was from his youth. Looks like the answer is as we suspected: "NO".

Hitlary kept using "political reality" this and that..
When shown that she and Kerry have super low ratings by Republicans and Timmy asked why she is so unpopular w/them.
.. "well, they just don't know me" or such..
Oh Yes They DO, Bitch!
"4 more years with a Bush in the WH would be disastrous,," she's making her move,, using her 20/20 hindsight

"Every time I hear Kerry equate our Vets with "Jengiss Kahn" my blood runs cold."
Every time I hear the pissant my blood runs cold.
To: YaYa123
Kerry's eagerness to believe anyone who said Americans did evil things without any effort to verify their charges or even see if those making the claims of atrocities were who they said they were is more troublesome than his testimony. He promises to do the same as president and virtually all of America's "newsrooms" believe this attribute will make him a great president.

Yes, I was wrong! Just goes to show you that my predictions aren't worth much when it comes to Hillary. I just can't get inside her head to figure her out.
