Then all doubt's should be cleared as of today. FR has done what no free political internet website has ever done before. We have not only broken out into the MSM being credited with finding the fraud in CBS' story on Bush.
But we have our own deep throat's here who blew the whistle in blazing clear daylight.
Typegate is going to sink the Kerry polls 5-10% once people see what his campaign has stooped to. This story is not going away and we will make sure of that.
The DU is biting fingernails left and right knowing they just got busted big time and that they are not as teflon as they thought they once were.
The Clinton years are over....new ballgame in town.
Get used to it.
FR will continue to grow and expand and we will eventually have so much credibility that the media will have no other choice but to report what we are on a daily basis.

The ABC's "The Note" mentions freeper Buckhead as questioning the authenticity of the documents before the CBS broadcast was even over!

Has anyone or a number of people at DU come to the realization yet that the docs are fake? All day yesterday, last night, and so far today all I can find is thread after thread and comment after comment asserting that the docs are real.

We should start a campaign to have the Press credentials of CBS pulled since they are at best tabloid journalists or political editoralists. The White House should at least pull CBSs press passes; maybe give them the FR

The first doubts to the memo's authenticity was attributed to Freeper Buckhead. Congratulations Buckhead! You done good.
What the critics fail to recognize is the Freepers come from all different backgrounds and therefore for any topic, at least one Freeper will be an expert in that field and will enlighten the rest of us. Remember the Columbia Space Shuttle tragedy, the media noted that it was Freepers observing the shuttle flying overhead, that first noticed something was wrong 20 minutes before the media broke the story.
if the MSM would do their job, and if there was still competition for stories, then "amateurs" wouldn't be needed. But since that hasn't happened yet, I'm glad we have FR-- a powerful watchdog force.
Suggestion: Freerepublic could give out an annual symbolic award to the top poster of the year, the one whose original posting promoted the most significant positive change in society.
