God Bless St. Anne's
You spent time here?
Emeril... what a guy. He is down to earth and entertaining. I've been to the Fall River and New Bedford area a few times. I used to live in the people's republic of Massachusetts.
Once had to drive down there to an exclusively Corvair junkyard to get some money for mine.
There may even be a few freepers with libertarian/atheistic leanings who cringe at the thought of divine intervention in the affairs of man. I, for one, am very familiar with Saint Anne's church in Fall River. People from around the world continue to visit this church as they and their families have for many decades. It is obvious that the church, located directly across the street from the hospital, sends a powerful message of God's all-encompassing providence.
Fall River people (many, not all - but MANY is itself a miracle!) are, in fact, far more culturally conservative yet more genuinely intelligent and compassionate [and they prove it with their donations of money and physical labor for charitable causes] than the "liberated" and "enlightened" and "sophisticated" but snide and rude and UNNATURAL socialists of the Boston-Cambridge area who look down their noses at the lowly "low-life" Fall River/New Bedford area.
P.S. I can cook better than Emeril Lagasse. ;-)
Earth to Granda: a man cannot legitimately take a man for a spouse.
