when a terrorist goes to a gun show somewhere in AmericaYes, because we ALL know that terrorists prefer to legally pay $400+ dollars for guns, rather than the $10 dollars it costs in Afghanistan.

Anyone who storms into someplace and shoots it up with an automatic or semiautomatic weapon has already broken at least a dozen laws. What is so sacred about the law that recently passed away that people who are inclined to do this sort of thing will pull up short thinking "Oh my goodness, I'd better not bread the AWB"? Let's start by enforcing the laws we have on the books and if that doesn't work then we can talk about some new ones!

The truth doesn't matter to the 'rats. They are actually proud to be ignorant on firearms matters, they wear their ignorance as a badge of honor, and consider folks who are knowledgeable about them to be suspect, potential mass-killers.

A terrorist at a gun show in America is their worst nightmare.... Surrounded by civilians willing to shoot them if they so much as let slip that they're terrorists.
I'm waiting for someone to do a response of that despicable ad showing Osama with a gun, saying that they're looking forward to 9/13.
I want to see something like, "Terrorists Aren't Looking Forward To 9/13" and a picture of a couple hundred American gun owners holding their guns over their heads. It would make a cooler video clip if everyone was chanting something patriotic.
To: Puppage
Yes, because we ALL know that terrorists prefer to legally pay $400+ dollars for guns, rather than the $10 dollars it costs in Afghanistan. Does that 400+ dollars include the cost of converting SEMI-Automatic guns to automatic?

But we should expect more from the likes of decent people like Dennis Miller. I hope that Dennis will admit to his blunder Rather than freezing like a CBS anchorman caught in the headlights of an oncoming 18-wheeler. I don't expect more ... they'd all Rather lie to the American people, if it will advance their goal of a defenseless populace.

This is quite interesting--all I have heard about is "UZI's!!! AK-47s!!!" What is a good resource I can use to rebut those claims?

I'd like to add a few items; especially as it concerns California. Years ago, thugs took over a bank in Southern California, and the police were outgunned. Now then, let's go to more recent issues: Homeland Security Defense funds; numerous docs showing that these funds have NOT been going into necessarily beefing up police weaponry and tactical skills.
Furthermore, let's take a look at what "thug" union leaders in CA have been pulling off for years in re pensions for public servants. And before anyone begins screaming at me! YES! I BLOODY WELL KNOW HOW ERRONEOUS IS THE "ASSAULT WEAPONS" definition! Makes my blood boil that this sleight of hand - ever occurred.
Again, I repeat -- the CA Police Officers did not have adequate weaponry to take out those thugs.

Police officers -- police officers -- begging the president all across our country: Keep this ban in place so we don't have to walk into a drug bust staring the down the barrel of a military machine gun, of an Uzi or an AK-47. - John Kerry, fully automatic liar.

No offense to Law Enforcement, but they are the last ones who should be determining public policy. Their job is to enforce it, not help make it.
They also obtain a rather jaundiced view of the public from having to constantly deal with the bottom 10% of any particular population. This has become painfully clear trying to discuss this issue with my father, retired Deputy, and others with law enforcement experience.
How many of us "gun nuts", and those the police deem unworthy, would gladly go in to harms way to help an officer out of a bad spot? How many would volunteer, and do, when the local Sheriff calls for it? How many of us consider ourselves the "unorganized militia" just waiting to be mustered?
For this "patriotism", we are labeled dangerous and untrustworthy. We the Law abiding are starting to feel a little put out here...

One would think that with all the sleep these rats and their politico police chiefs are losing over their fear of these avon guns they'd get sick and die.........must be they are just acting. I did a little work as a deputy and for 16 years in a drug infested arena of city and rural responsibility I can count a few sawed off shotguns but ony two or three rifles used in crimes and they were all bolt guns. SKS's and the AK & M16 clones were very much present in New Mexico but not once did I see one used nor did I read a report about one being used in a neighboring jurisdiction.
IMO most Police Chiefs and Sheriffs of large communities and counties are corrupt polidiots of the worst kind. Their chicken little Avon Gun Ban rant is diversional disinformational BS and they know it....
Stay safe !

Medium to big city police chiefs are pure politicians, sucking their way to higher office, usually by toeing the 'rat party line.
