Lockhart "doesn't recall" the documents being discussed. Well, that just doesn't pass the smell test. Burkett knew the documents were the most important part of the smear and it's inconceivable that he wouldn't mention them to Lockhart.
And notice Lockhart's parsing denial. If it's later shown that he was told about the documents, he can still stand by his lack of recollection.
