Are we the only ones to have noticed how often John Kerry pushes his tongue out of his mouth when he speaks? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

We were watching a recording of Kerry's appearance on Letterman and actually found ourselves distracted by the constant flicking and probing of the senator's red yahzik.

We eventually decided to take a few screenshots and post them up. Trying to take screenshots at first was like a game of whack-a-mole. But after a while there was a certain zen to it all -- we could feel when it was going to appear.

We were busy. Ninety-four times it popped out! And that's not counting the rebound-wags, tooth-probes, lip-diggers, half-rollers, split-flips, or even any biting-curls! An animated gif would have been too big, so we put together this instead... (Don't get confused! That actually is his tongue, not his bottom lip.)

OMG! I have noticed this and it creeps me out. As a woman I find Kerry so incredibly UGLY. Wait...make that, YEWGLY with a capital "U". (Rhymes like "W" for "wrong"...hehe.)

I always think he should be saying, "I'll have some fava beans with that and a nice Chianti...fh, fh, fh, fh, fh."

Not that I am suggesting anything but I seem to recall noticing a fellow (not sKerry) who had a little problem with this as well when someone said it was a side effect of drugs. I did know what kind of drugs and I didn't ask at the time.

There is some psychotropic drugs that cause swelling and dryness such as Haldol.

Has sKerry signed that 180? Should be a cinch for him after all he does a 180 all the time.

It appeared he was insecure and trying to be funny and the tongue flicks were a nervous reaction.
