Hey W-S. What can I say?...I think California has become something of a political hell-hole. I gave money to Jones' campaign right after the primary, and I'm thinking of asking for it back. I've seen no campaign on his part. I don't get it. I wish I could go back and change my vote to Marin, or whatever her name, that Karl Rove wanted as the Sen. candidate. At least she would have run a campaign.
As a contrast to the interest in Bush stickers, I've noticed a definite drop in the number of Kerry-Edwards stickers I'm seeing on the way to work (I have to pass through the Peoples' Republic of Davis). I used to see a goodly number, but they've all but disappeared. That's a good sign.
BTW, have you kept all of Kerry's dork-a-thon photos? I'd love to see a montage simply of those pictures of him throwing or catching a football.

That picture looks like he's in the Special Olympics. No offense intended.

Kerry looks just like the face on that tree in the Wizard of Oz.

Note the child, or perhaps very small woman, defending Kerry.

I've been noticing a change in the bumper stickers here in Oregon too. I am in one of the suburbs of Portland (the extreme liberal zone). A month ago they were 3-1 in favor of Kerry, now they are running 3-1 Bush from my observations. Lots of cars with Support out troops on them to, which I believe tend to be Republicans for the most part. Lawn signs appear to be about even for Bush and Kerry.
To: Flamenco Lady
Wow. I'll take that report as authoritative. I know the polls have shown that Kerry's support is soft among those who are inclined to vote for him, but people who place bumperstickers on their cars shows a deeper level of support, and now even these are bailing.
My liberal brother lives in Portland. I've be tickled to have Bush win Oregon.

He looks sallow and unhealthy.
They have to dummy up a youthful, healthy look which is darn near impossible.
Now he looks like a wax dummy from Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum.
Will the American people buy what Man Tan Man is selling?

Suntanned Kramer looking like the "cooked turkey" Seinfeld show!! LOL!!! We need a picture of Kerry's head on a turkey's body 9other than his own) on a silver platter.
Can someone photo shop the turke that Bush was holding in Iraq with Kerry's face on it??

it's called make-up...he's got more pancake on than IHOP "Would you like some pancake to go with that waffle?"
We might need to start calling him "Hoppy" in honor of IHOP.

When he lost his voice last week, I thought that it was too bad that it wasn't debate time. But this is even better. I think he had a chemical peel or something. My sister-in-law has them due to old acne scars, and her face is exactly like Kerry's for days afterward. I do think the red will lighten up by Thursday. Darn it.
