My hometown is Wilmington, DE, just north of where this tornado touched-down. I saw this story mentioned on the Fox News ticker, and I was surprised that my small homestate got mentioned. I called my mom earlier this evening, and she said the thunderstorms there were pretty intense.

Delaware Online has a story about it, but copyright restrictions forbid me from posting it.

I work approx. 1.5 miles from where the tornado touched down. Obviously it was extremely violent with the wind/rain earlier this evening. We did hear about a tornado warning (highest threat level) prior to the tornado hitting.
The Delaware Air National Guard normally has 2 - 4 C130's on their flight line. They are very active making runs to the Iraq/Afghanistan. Great folks doing noble work.

Here's something you don't see every day:
Happened to the Delaware Air Guard based at the New Castle County, Delaware airport - just south of Philadelphia.
