Obama is Alive and Hiding in.....Pakistan? (Serious vanity...:-)
EV | September 28th, 2004 | EV

Obama is spending very little time in IL. He's running from all but two debates. He has not been able to drive a message. He spent all his money building name ID, and now he and his cohorts think it's over.

The Dems are complacent.

Let's take advantage of that.

Just don't tell 'em...shhhhhh....

;-)

positive vanity

Positive? let's see the "positive vanity" remarks, shall we?

What do you care? Does he owe you money?

Here to despoil another thread?

Enjoy your Obama vote, then....'cause that's all your plan accomplishes

Why do you have to be such a wet blanket

Whose side are you on?

Ah...a fair-weather friend

So, you'd rather have Obama, eh?

Back in Revolutionary War days, 'realists' were called Tories.

Why don't you go pick on Daschle or something

How long does your commitment to helping Obama run?

I would ask you to remain silent.

If you don't have any positive input, just clear out and leave us be

as I said earlier, with some of you all, loyalty is a one-way street.

you're free to go live in Hades

Your tactics on these threads provide ample illustration of how the Illinois GOP has gotten to where it is

Your negativism is so two months ago, and at this point in a general election would be more appropriate on DU

You're divisive, destructive and self-serving

Any fair-minded observer of this thread can clearly see whose agenda you're serving

So kindly don't lecture me

Bull. You're just not listening

You're projecting your warped view of how this all works

If you're not working for Obama, you're doing a good imitation of it

ironic, when it is you who is attacking our Republican candidate

you all won't just shut up and help us beat Obama

These people are hopeless

From this thread alone.

Yep. Looks positive to me. Positively insane.

Far too many good FReepers just don't want to endure their constant scorn, so they remain silent.

EV, you play a part in all this by making provocative, outrageous statements - like telling people to go to hell for asking questions, and suggesting that the President of the United States is some kind of student of "Keyesian" foreign policy. People are just going to respond to that sort of nonsense. If you don't want people to respond, don't say things like that. Simple. (I honestly think that would work.)

I wish I had seen that before I posted. You made the point much better than I just did.

Keyes is nothing more than a shameless grifter. A half-century ago or more, he would have been a carny barker.

If he really wants to make an honest living and still get face time, he should submit his resume to Vince McMahon or another wrestling company owner. Keyes would make a great heel manager.

The Hard-core Kool-aid drinking Keysters remind me just a bit of the Mormoms - The Mormons go through the Marriage Announcements in the papers and basically "marry" everyone into their church, whether they are mormons or not... Keysters retroactively make every major conservative policy a "Keyesian" policy...

(I was a conservative long before I ever knew squat about Keyes, but I guess that makes me a "Keyesian Conservative"...)

Maybe it makes Keyes a Fairbanksian conservative. Did you ever think of that? Huh? Huh? HUH?

Keyes is a good student - he and I have had many private meetings where we discussed policy - his foreign policy? My idea. His economic policies? My idea.

I only hope that one day, Keyes becomes president so that the Fairbanksian Policies I have taught him can be fully implemented...

You know, EV, if I really believe in something, I don't care who "scorns" my beliefs, I stand up for them.

You might consider that there are also many good FReepers who don't want to be suspended or banned if you or your buddies hit "ABUSE" on them, so they remain silent.

Why don't you go do something constructive and stop ruining what started out to be a positive thread?

The sad thing is they rob us of this finest of venues for working to mount a successful campaign against Obama.

Not a one of us or any one of these posts have anything to do with Keyes' numbers in Illinois.

He got there with his very own words.

And I am STILL waiting for you to name one time Alan Keyes has been with George Bush for a "private conversation" since the debates in 2000.

I stand up too, Amelia, as you know.

But this continued attack, attack, attack by Alan's detractors is wrong-headed in the extreme.

We are trying to do a hard job here, one that is desperately needed by Illinois Republicans. It's wrong what these people continue to do.

Those are your words, not mine.

Please go find a thread where you can do something positive. I know you're capable of it, because I've seen you do it.

You said you had seen Keyes and Bush in private conversation; you've said before that they talked at the debates and that Bush was really nice to Bush.

I say that's the last time they talked.

Prove me wrong.

EV, some of it is "attack", and perhaps that's wrong. Some of it I think is constructive criticism that Dr. Keyes refuses to take.

I don't think any of us want Obama to win, but you've got to admit, from all appearances, the campaign isn't going very well.

I may be wrong, but I think everyone would be tickled pink if Keyes were beating Obama by 50 points - or if the race was even close.

Fine. I'll stop as soon as the Keysters admit that Alan Keyes is a Fairbanksian Conservative.
