XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX SUN OCT 03, 2004 14:05:38 ET XXXXX

DEBATE MYSTERY: DID KERRY HAVE CHEAT SHEET?

Section 5, pages 4-5 of the binding "Memorandum of Understanding" that was negotiated and agreed upon by both political campaigns states:

"No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by either candidate.... Each candidate must submit to the staff of the Commission prior to the debate all such paper and any pens or pencils with which a candidate may wish to take notes during the debate, and the staff or commission will place such paper, pens and pencils on the podium..."

So what did Dem presidential contender John Kerry take out of his jacket as he approached the stage [with his back to the auditorium's audience]?

What did Kerry place on the podium?

Video replays of the Kerry maneuver played all weekend long on the internet.

[A tight zoom of the Boston.Com feed shows Kerry pulling a mysterious "card" from his jacket. 14 seconds into video, after commerical]

A top Kerry campaign source explained to the DRUDGE REPORT late Sunday how Bush supporters were once again trying to distract.

"Kerry did not cheat," said the Kerry insider. "This is more lies from Republicans, who are hoping for a quick change of subject away from the president's performance, and the new polls."

My hubby's mommy use to say:

"Whats-a-matter fox... smell your own hole?"

I think this applies to the "Bush Lied" crowd.

This issue isn't about Bush. It's about Kerry, who cheats, lies, and has the audacity to constantly attack Bush on his character, because they know that is Bush's strong asset.

I know. It is because honesty and integrity are Bush's strong points that the Dems attack him on these things.

The Dems have become the party of libel and slander. That's who they are.

Don't get too upset that this is being done to Bush.

The Devil has been doing the same thing to God for ages. Lying about Him. The Most Holy Almighty God. And He is slandered daily. That is why we have so many people who could care less about the truth today.

I can't tell you how many people repeat the Rat mantra of Bush lies, and personally I'm sick of it. We need to show that the ones doing the accusing...are the cheaters and liars.

Keep the faith. They will all be held accountable. I pray to God that Nov 2 will be a day of reckoning for the Devil.

But with a Democrats the rules are different. Lying and cheating are virtues. Something to be proud of.

I'm worried about voter fraud by the RATs much more than I am about Bush's performance in the debate. It's not going to matter how well Bush attacks Kerry, if the RATs are able to get away with fraudulent voter registrations.

I spent all day Friday searching news feeds for a particular moment in the debate that I had spotted on Thursday night. I was watching FOX. I saw Kerry ROTATE INDEX CARDS. I went nuts! On Friday, I searched for any feeds that might show the incident, but I could not find it. I also could not review the FOX camera angles and frames, because that particular feed did not seem to be available.

So, I gave up. No point posting something you can't prove, right? Thank God, that someone else caught another moment related to Kerry's cheating.

Time is not of the essence when it comes to catching a cheater, as long as they are caught and exposed.

I am certain ABC will expose this. Of course, it would be helpful if they were given the right feeds.

Drudge is reporting this because several of us informed him along with others of this situation, AFTER we had discussed it, investigated it, looked at all film available again and again and in every way possible. THIS film is being used because that is what there is...PERIOD. No one set out to "set Kerry up".....it just simply IS what it IS.

Try debating from memory against someone using fact cards.
Try doing it when you have to keep your temper in check because you can see he's cheating, but you don't want to publically shame him.
Try doing it when your opponent has just squeezed your hand tightly then forced your to drag your hand out from his in front of 50 million viewers.
Try doing it when your opponent is wearing pink lipstick.
Try doing it when you opponent is deliberately waving around a thick white pen, as big as a baton, as you try to speak.

So, how're you doing at your debate?

If it's your own picture, go to photobucket.com and upload it. They have very good instructions for posting a link to the pictures.

If it is somewhere on the internet, go to photobucket.com and follow there instructions for writing the code to put up pictures.

>>now having watched the video bite a dozen times , I would say that most definitely Kerry did produce a note from his suit
pocket , something that was clearly forbidden by the rules
of the debate .

WHAT? You mean John Kerry, the same man who encouraged his OWN BROTHER and CAMPAIGN MANAGER to commit a felony break-in of his opponent's headquarters? (and they got caught)...

...THAT JOHN KERRY would actually CHEAT?

... I'm SHOCKED!!! SHOCKED I SAY!

I actually shocked myself that I got involved in this converstation.

I am sorry - compared to the UK where Prime Ministers have to answer questions daily from members of Parliament this American process to me is a revelation.

Are all American candidates so afraid of being shown to be stupid that they need to create such restrictive rules to - ahem - debates? Is this the America I thought produced the brightest and the best to lead the world? My fellow Americans actually think this was a debate? It was a question and answer session - a press conference with one journalist. One candidate showed up with crib sheets the other unprepared.

Shame on the American people for producing this level of candidate and this level of intellect in our leaders.

How low we have fallen as a nation. We are to be ruled either by tweedle dee or tweedle dum.

I mentioned something about this to my wife on the night of the debate. I saw him pull the card out. Then, when sKerry made a reference to an obvious talking point and he made a check mark with the pen he had.

I told my wife "look, he has all the things they wanted him to cover on that card, and he is checking them off as he goes."

I had not idea that they card was not allowed.

That cheating bastard. All of you DU people on here, try taking a index card to a job interview and see if you get the job.

How is this a non-issue? No papers or cards were permitted. Are rules only for Republicans?
