Cheney probably didn’t even remember the prayer breakfast. The point he was making, and that I think most viewers caught, is that Edwards hasn’t been doing his job.

John Edwards has been derelict in his Senate duties but nevertheless collects his taxpayer funded paycheck.

Yes, Edwards had his chance to challenge the assertion and he did not.

I agree.

Cheney had been sworn in only a few weeks before the prayer breakfast, and the inauguration was not so long after Gore put Bush's new administration (and the whole country) through all that turmoil.

A vote for John Kerry is a vote for a well-manicured gas bag.
