Voter's Guide for Kerry/Edwards Supporters
10/10/04 | Chiroman

Posted on 10/10/2004 8:18:46 PM PDT by chiroman

Dear Kerry/Edwards supporter,

I'm giving you this pamphlet because I'm concerned that you have not considered all of the issues of this election and I wanted to bring several of those issues to your attention. If you answer yes to the following questions then by all means vote for John Kerry for president, however, if you do not agree with these positions then you may want to reconsider your vote.

* If you favor late term abortion (AKA Infanticide) then vote for Kerry.

* If you are in favor of gun control then pull the trigger for Kerry.

* If you do not believe in the sovereignty of the United States and would prefer the United Nations to determine our destiny... Vote for Kerry!

* If you believe in blaming America first then let Kerry lead the way.

* If you believe that Bush lied about WMD's and Al Qaida's link to Saddam then a vote for Kerry might be justified... except that Kerry also said there were WMD's in Iraq and links to Al Qaida. Doesn’t that mean that Kerry lied too? Why does he get a pass?

* If you would prefer liberal judges to continue to destroy our constitution then vote for Kerry and the trend will continue.

* If you want the ACLU and other radical organizations to remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance then Kerry is your man.

* If you would like NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) to be recognized as a legitimate organization while the Boy Scouts are attacked by the radical left then a vote for Kerry is a step in that direction.

* If you favor homosexual marriage and a general attack on family values... vote for Kerry.

* In fact, if you want to see the morals of this country eroded further down the cesspool of hell then by all means vote for John Kerry.

* If you believe that John Kerry will do a better job than George Bush to keep our country safe from radical Islamic terrorists then pull that lever for senator Kerry. (What have you been smoking?)

* If you prefer a hand out to a hand up then Kerry is your social worker.

* If you want to see small businesses wiped out by taxes along with 70% of job creation, Kerry is your tax friendly politician.

* If you believed the lies portrayed as fact by Michael Moore in Fahrenheit 911 then you should vote for Kerry. However, you probably haven't seen former Clinton advisor Dick Morris' FahrenHYPE 911 that debunks Moore's film as a hack job filled with lies and half truths.

* If you believe that Dan Rather is telling the truth about the forged documents claiming that George Bush dissed the National Guard, then give your vote to Kerry, (of course, you probably also believe in the tooth fairy). By the way, George W. Bush did serve honorably in the National Guard for 6 years compared to Kerry's 4 months. Not that any of that matters 34 years later.

* If you believe that Theresa Heinz Kerry has more class and would make a better 1st lady than Laura Bush then punch that chad for John Kerry. (Howard Stern must be your idea of a classy guy?)

* If you believe that greedy trial lawyers are good for this country then vote for trial lawyer John Edwards and his pal John Kerry.

* If you believe a kept man like John Kerry should be president, vote for the gigolo.

* If you want to get screwed by the government then voting for the 2 Johns seems appropriate.

* If you believe that Kerry will help the black community more than Bush then maybe you haven’t heard about the initiatives Bush has taken to empower African Americans and other minorities. Top black leaders have taken to the pages of the Wall Street Journal to support the re-election of President Bush. They noted that George W. Bush has done more than any president, including former President Bill Clinton, in recent history for the black community. The president has taken action to create opportunities for minorities through improved education and increased homeownership:

* His No Child Left Behind education reform was designed to close the achievement gap between white and minority students.

* He has worked for an increase in funding for historically black colleges and universities.

* He has set a national goal of helping 5.5 million minorities become homeowners and just two years later we’re a third of the way there and today more minority families than ever before own their home.

* Bush has improved minority communities, reducing violent crime rates with initiatives like Project Safe Neighborhoods, which takes gun criminals off the streets.

* His faith-based and community initiative is boosting the efforts of charities that bring real help to people in urban neighborhoods.

* His tax relief has helped businesses create 1.9 million jobs in the last year and he has worked to create more opportunities for minority-owned small businesses.

* He launched the most ambitious American effort ever aimed at combating AIDS and other diseases in Africa.

* George Bush has appointed more minorities to high-level government positions than any other president. The most notable being Condoleezza Rice and Colon Powell.

In summary, if you have a penchant for immorality then Kerry's your man. John Kerry has flip-flopped on every major issue in this election. He has no core values. John Kerry says that he believes that life begins at conception and yet he has never protected the unborn with a pro-life vote. He believes that its OK to kill the unborn human babies. This man will not protect the most innocent of all even though he believes they are human beings. What's that say for his core values?

He spent 19 years in the senate but has not touted one issue that he is proud of. He was rated the #1 most liberal senator, based on his voting record, well ahead of Teddy Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. He voted for a 6 billion dollar cut in intelligence after the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He talked endlessly about his 4 months in Viet Nam until 254 of his decorated brother swift boat veterans called him on his service and showed him to be the phony that he is. He was on the wrong side of history, opposing President Ronald Reagan, when Reagan won the Cold War. He has voted against 40 different weapons’ systems that are currently in use or have been used in both Gulf wars and Afghanistan. He voted against the first Gulf war despite UN approval and the cooperation of 34 coalition partners, including France and Germany. Saddam Hussein would still be in power today if John Kerry was the president. This is not a man who can be trusted with the security of our country.

There are only two reasons to vote for Senator Kerry, you have either been duped by the left leaning main stream media or you hate good and love evil. If you have been misled by the lies of the liberal media then it is time to be responsible and change your vote for the President. Bush is a good Christian man who stands up for what he believes to be right, regardless of how the winds of politics are blowing while Kerry, a cultural catholic, (ie. a Catholic in name only), is disloyal to the clear teaching of his own church. A man who cannot be trusted to do what is right but only what is expedient, depending on the winds of popular opinion. What's it going to be?

Good post! Evad beat me to the punch on what I was going to add!

I tell people that President Bush's administration is more pro-minority than Clinton's ever hoped to be. I get a lot of quizzical looks on that one, but facts bear me out.

Very well put. Kerry will destroy this country if elected. The Democrats claim to be the party for blacks, women and other minorities. Look at the record though. The Republican party placed the first female Supreme Court Justice. They also have the first black Secretary of State and National Security Advisor. I would say while the Democrats pay lip service the Republicans have substance. By the way wasn't Abraham Lincoln the Republican who freed the slaves. Republicans empower minorities to be all they can be. The Democrats give them handouts to keep them in their place. Does it seem that the minority vote is for the wrong party?

"you make me sick. bush and gang are on their way out. period. ever read "Mein Kampf"? oh,please, go to www.pnac.com so you can see the parallels of bush and hitler.!!!!!!"

Goodwin's Law of Usenet
Professor Goodwin, U of I, in 1981 made the observation that Usenet discussions gravitate downhill.

He postulated that as the length of a discussion thread grows, the probability approaches one (1) that one participant will introduce the terms "Hitler" or "Nazi".

The custom has evolved that the first party to utter "Hitler" or "Nazi" has lost the discussion, and the thread terminates.

This is excellent. I'm going to print it out, make copies and use it for a hand-out. I'm also e-mailing it all over the nation and ask people to put them on windshields in parking lots of black churches.

If I handed this out here in NJ, they'd get as far as the first question:

"If you are in favor of gun control then pull the trigger for Kerry. "

Feel justified with a vote for Kerry, and move on.

My inspiration for writing this voter's guide was for the good honest church going black voter's who unfortunately walk lock-step with the demoncat party because they have been hood-winked by the Jesse Jackson's out there that tell them "the Democrat's are for the poor people". If they studied the issues they would walk over to our side.

If you want someone who is pro-Iran and the Ayatollahs then vote for John Kerry.
