The dems keep recycling the only points of attack they have. That's why we had to go through the National Guard nonsense AGAIN and I fully expect the drunk driving charge to be brought up in the next week or two----probably with some kind of twist to make it seem "new". Also other old rumors the left keeps trying to revive (Kitty Kelley's book was supposed to serve as a launching pad).

So, in addition to whatever they can use that happened during his presidency (perhaps they'll start howling about Abu Ghraib again?) the only thing they've got on Dubya are these old stories, including the Cheney saga we dealt with back in 2000.

The "exaggerations" statement was quickly exposed as nothing anyway. A review of what he said makes it clear of the context and only the ABB crowd thinks President Bush is not interested in getting bin Laden.

In other words, trying to make something out of that would only serve to buck of the base. Everybody else knows it was not what you tried to make it out to be by bringing it up.

Kerry owes a lot of apologies to a lot of people. He ain't gonna apologize. They will just have to take their satisfaction the way that President Bush did. Place your boot on his neck and relieve yourself on that thing he calls his face.

NOT TRUE!! The annulment does NOT affect the legitacy of Kerry's two daughters! A real Catholic would know this.

SCHIEFFER: Both of you are opposed to obesity, and are concerned about
its costs to those it affects, and to society. But to understand how
you have come to that conclusion, I want to ask you a more basic
question. Do you believe obesity is the fault of the person effected?

BUSH: We're all God's children, Bob. And I think if you were to talk
to Jon Edwards' wife, who is overweight, she would tell you that she's
being who she was, simply big-boned, with a low metabolism. She's being
who she was born as.

I think if you talk to anybody, it's not her fault. I've met people
who struggled with their weight for years, people who were heavy
because they were living a sort of convention in terms of eating
normal amounts of food, and they struggled with it.

And we all need to be more accepting of our heavier fellow citizens,
especially the plus-sized gals like Mrs. E, who is as lovely and
gracious as any anorexic supermodel. We need to accept people the way
God had made them.

Democrats do not care about lesbians, unless they are related to famous Republicans. Remember Newt Gingrich's sister? They made her a tv star with a guest-spot on one of the most popluar tv shows at the time, Friends, but when the hoopla died down, they dropped her as a "spokesperson." They thought they could do the same with Cheney and it has backfired.

...at the mention of a lesbian in the family ...

The use of the word lesbian by kerry was no accident. I'd be willing to bet the farm lesbian was used because research showed it elicited more of a negative effect than the word gay.

How many people use "lesbian" in a conversation?

I am curious if anyone else noticed a pause in Kerry's voice right before he said that word. If so, how did you perceive it?

I agree with your point, but that is exactly what the President should have said instead of denying he said something that Kerry quoted verbatim. In a more general sense I do NOT favor playing the "context" game because that is exactly how the other side tries to spin away Kerry's "nuisance" comment and the $87 billion vote.

From what I have read, sKerry says he "sought an annulment" from the Church, not necessarily that he received one. According to an interview a few years ago with Terry sKerry, they were married "on the beach" in a civil ceremony.

Hmmmm. If he never actually received the annulment, he is still married to his first wife in the Church's eyes. Hence the civil ceremony, something two supposedly devout Catholics would NEVER do unless they had no choice.

To add insult to injury, however, they both persist in receiving Holy Communion when they are, according to the Church, living in sin.

These "people" disgust me!

Ah, that brings to light some (not surprising) things, thanks for clarifying them.

Their mockery of God and the sacrament of marriage is astounding.
