Despite everything written on this thread, I think it is smart to keep this in the "news" as long as Bush/Cheney possibly can.

The public doesn't approve of the fact that sKerry brought Mary Cheney's sexuality into the debate and it hurts sKerry.

How does the John and Teresa consider Cheney's daugher's private life fair game but not consider their financial information, Kerry's divorce records and his military records fair game?

Good point, hasn't the line from Teresa been that she doesn't want to compromise her son's privacy by releasing tax information?

Tammy Bruce yesterday had a great discussion of Kerry's mentioning of Cheney's daughter. She said the daughter is being villified by the gay community for DARING to not conform to their Agenda -- specifically, not to be in-your-face gay. This was Kerry's way of pandering to the Radical Gays even as he says, "I am against Gay Marriage." A lot of homosexuals were calling in, SO offended by Kerry's use of this. I think it will backfire among many groups.

Frankly, I don't see this as much different than Janet Jackson's exposure, other than Jackson's dad isn't trying to become president and Janet didn't force the American public to see an almost full body nude shot.
