He may also be going to make sure that the split electoral vote prop fails.

"If that were the case he'd be more likely to be seen in Oklahoma, South Dakota and Alaska."

Excellent point. This is NOT good news.

Also, it may be done in conjunction with a trip to New Mexico.

Nothing Bush does is good news in your eyes. Give it a rest.

Why can't some freepers face reality instead of attacking the messenger? You are right. I'll put a happy face on everything so I won't rock your world.

Where candidates appear in the final days of a campaign give you a good idea of where they believe they need a boost.Appearances a week out speak volumes as to what their internal polls show. Bush should not have to be in Colorado spending precious time a week before election day. Period. I am simply telling you the truth. Not telling you what you want to hear. Francis.

And everything Bush does is genius in your eyes. See how easy that is? Sorry I try to deal with reality, not try to box it into one's hopeful fantasies. If he's down in CO, that's not good news and calling that pile of poop gold aint gonna help matters.

Look for 'W' to hit all major Senate and House toss-up locations during the last week of the election.

All you Karl Rove wannabies have no clue. President Bush has more nuts than the average rat. He's a Texan and if he wants to go to Colorado he will. Oklahoma may be a stretch! LOL

Here are the last 5 polls for Bush in Colorado...

Mason-Dixon -- Bush +9
SurveyUSA -- Bush +8
Rocky Mtn News -- Bush +5
CNN/USAToday -- Bush +6
Rasmussen -- Bush +5

Yet, in your "reality" he's "down" in Colorado? There's a lot of poop around here alright, and it's up to your neck.

Makes perfect sense to visit Colorado...hardly a sign of weakness, especially with the latest polling. President Bush will be making a lot of brief visits to states like this to cement leads and not give the impression that he is taking the state for granted. He will need to spend larger amounts of his time in the key battleground states of Ohio and Florida, regardless of whether he is ahead barely or ahead by a fair margin. I would toss Wisconsin in their too.
I am mixed about his time in New Jersey though.

You are forgetting about NM. Perhaps he is stopping there too.

Uh genius that's precisely the point. Some polls are showing him up, others down or tied. Hence why his trip should be seen in a negative, rather than a positive, light. U don't visit a state ur up by 5 a week and a half before voting day. Unless ur interal polls show a somewhat dimmer view of ur prospects than what is publicly believed.

Remember there is a "Steal the Election for Kerry" amendemnt on the ballot in CO this year. It would deny all 9 electoral votes to Bush. I think President is attempting a triple crown: rally support for himself, Coors, and shooting down Amendement 22.

Not a SINGLE poll has had him down in Colorado since MARCH. Are you being purposely obtuse, or are you really that ignorant? Bush will show up for a couple hours in a state where he wants to help a candidate win a Senate race. I realize you've already declared Daschle to be the next Senate majority leader, but I think I've already proven your "reality" leaves a lot to be desired.

You might, you might not. And it's not good to always second guess.

But these knee-jerk attacks on anyone who doubts even a single thing, regardless of their otherwise supportive and encouraging stance, is killing the credibility of too many freepers, and has made visiting here less informative for those who care more about realistic analysis than simple blind cheerleading.

He knows he is going to destroy Kerry. Why not stop by CO on the way to N.M. and help give Coors a lift while shoring it up for himself at the same time. I wished he would stop by for a couple of hours and help Dr. Coburn. One thirty second spot on the nightly news here in OK would almost guarantee we keep this senate seat. Bush needs to pick up some seats in the senate to he can get through his judicial nominees during the next four years.

"regardless of their otherwise supportive and encouraging stance"

Here's a challange for you Trinity_Tx. Take a look through KentianBurkes posting history and find a single post that is either supportive or encouraging about Bush.
