Just got a call from the Colorado GOP. President Bush is going to be in Greeley, CO on the 24th.
Polls are showing Bush solidly ahead in Colorado, so I am guessing this visit is to boost Coors and the Republican candidates for the House.
Has anyone heard if he is hitting other states with Senate seats up for grabs...like Oklahoma or South Dakota? Or is Colorado not as solidly in the Bush camp as I think it is?
Can you get tickets?????
Im in Frederick not too far feom Greeley. What time is he going to be there ?
feom= from lol
Oh man..if he's looking at Senate races and can pull Iowa and Wisconsin..
Hmmmm....this is odd. I hope its for the Senate because if not its a waste of time. WE're up by 5-10 in CO. Isn't the 24th Sunday? Maybe its on a swing to NM? That would make SOME sense I guess.
I just found out it is on Monday Oct 25 at 11am
I think Bush should be on Ohio and Florda and New Hampshire. Can't believe we could possibly lose CO. Getting awfully worried about Ohio...Dem 527's have spent millions there. If Kerry wins it...we will have to pick up somewhere else IA? WI?? NM??
Still worried...Kerry scares me.

Agreed. WTF is he doing in CO?! Sorry but his dallying in NJ is stupid particuarly since NH is leaning towards Kerry.
Greeley is Marilyn Musgrave's single strongest base of loyal voters in her district (as far as good sized cities go). Loveland is probably 2nd, Ft. Collins 3rd, and Longmont 4th, I'm guessing.
If this is true then it is all over. I have been waiting for this to happen. Listen to what the President says, if the speech is mostly for congressional candidates then the fat lady is singing.
Glad you posted that. I just figured out I head it wrong. The 25th it is...
President Bush was just here in Denver and Colorado Springs on Oct. 11th and 12th. My guess is that it is to help Pete Coors, which is a sign that he is feeling pretty confident about his own re-election.
Tickets are available at the GOP headquarters 831 11th Street in Greeley and 615 N. Main in Longmont. They can be picked up tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday. They gave the hours but I did not get them written down...
Hours are 9am-1pm
Please tell me we don't have to worry about Musgrave!!
This is NOT good news. Bush internals must show trouble. This is NOT where he wants to be on the 24th. There is no way he's coasting, and has the luxury of working for Senate candidates. If that were the case he'd be more likely to be seen in Oklahoma, South Dakota and Alaska. I am afraid this speaks volumes.
Lighten up Francis. Which state do you want him to be in on that date so you can say he's in trouble there?
It's one visit. That isn't going to lose us the race.
