I'm not so sure about that. When my wife was pregnant with our first kid, she was sitting in a chair, reading a newspaper, with the bottom of the paper resting on her stomach, when the kid kicked her hard enough to make the paper fly up!. True story. I saw it happen.
Not ALL babies spend their first months of their lifetime in a woman's uterus. [A child was birthed from her mother's liver tissue not too long ago.] But I would agree the photo is likely a trick of photoshop. Cute trick, but a trick.
Appreciate the ping, Robert! [BTW, will you be surveying voter stats this year here at FR on Nov 3 until ...?
Liver tissue?? Ewwwww...Was the baby born with liver spots? lol! That is weird though. I wonder if her liver was damaged.
You can read about it in a manuscript offered free for downloading at http://weneedtalk.blogspot.com. There are other curious stories there also ... it's a work of non-fiction, BTW.
This is amazing.

Looks like a character from the Simpsons...not sure which one, I've never seen the show.
So precious, those little feet. Maybe they're not so small now, but I hope they've been kissed a thousand times. If not by humans then by angels.
